Got 4 hard commits and 7 soft out of my 15 visitors last week. I'm in 1st place for the other 8 guys on my boards with at least a 1000 point lead over their #2 schools. Most of the guys are 2 and 3 start guys with a few 1 stars. However, they all fit with what I need and most project to be rated 60-70 overalls at their position using the pockets scout app. It's usually pretty close, within +/- 5 points on the overalls. This should be a really good class all things considered and I should have almost all my targets locked and schollies filled by the off season which would be great. With my offense starting to come on the last few games I'm optimistic for the first time in this dynasty and looking for next season to be a break out year!

Wow, nice work. I couldn't attract any 4* guys this year, so hopefully next year will yeild a better result. For now, i'm hoping JUCOs and 3* guys pan out. Then again, maybe a head coach position will open up. Who knows....

Well.. its not my offense that's losing me games its my D.. they can't stop anybody back to back 50 point games.. I do have a nice Freshman QB.

I hear this. My last two loses were lost by my D by letting go ahead scores in the final minute. I need to get a HC job so I can get control of the D...or just get to a better team. Gotta say I'm alittle envious of Tenn. and Oregon.

Tennessee bounces back with a tough 31-28 win over South Carolina. This means, with a win over Missouri, we'll clinch a trip to the SEC Conference Championship and a possible rematch with Alabama. SC gave us all we could handle, but our D forced two huge stops late int he game and out Heisman candidate just chewed up the clock on the ground.
So far so good on Rocky Top. I'm curious about my future here. Derek Dooley's rating is at 17% so he may not be here next year. I'm not sure if a new broom would sweep clean, or if I would be in the running for an interview.

Lost to Troy 29-24. I probably could've won the conference if I'd won the game. Troy was the last tough conference opponent. Unfortunately I had to sim the 2nd half and the cpu blew my 14-6 lead. Needless to say I feel like I would've won had I been able to play the whole game...

Baylor loses to Ok. St. 28-24
It was a hard fought game today in Waco, but the Bears come up just short. Starting QB Perry was knocked out of the game for the entire second half. This along with Ok St. stout run defense and the lose of starting QB, the Bears were forced to really get away from running the ball. They were able to keep it close, but the Cowboys just had too much offensive firepower. After the game coach Willard said that he was going to take the offense into an entirely different direction. “I tried to take our players and run a system that they were not able to run, so I will tweak the offense and do what the players we have are good at.
