Arkansas State knocks off #5 Wisconsin 31-28. What started as an early defensive battle going into the half at 14-7, points exploded in the second half. The Badgers scored with 1:17 remaining in the game to tie it at 28. Arkansas State took over and seemed to stall when they had a 4th & 1 but an offsides penalty by the defense gave them new life allowing them to finish the drive and ultimately hit a 23 yard field goal.

Sophomore QB Jason Watson threw for 476 yards on 20/32 with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. New to the team, WR/HB Bryan Williams caught 4 passes for 105 yards and a score plus 62 yards on 2 rush attempts and a touchdown. WRs Casey Brewer and James Roberts continued to produce stats as Brewer caught 8 passes for 131 yards and Roberts caught 3 passes for 123 yards and a score.

Looks like we have some good user teams...2 impressive wins against ranked opponents

Looks like we have some good user teams...2 impressive wins against ranked opponentsFor mine, at least part of it is that Wisconsin was overrated... they're a B+ OVR compared to my B-; I expected them to be in the A neighborhood. That and my defense kept me in it early and then a punt return for TD helped me out quite a bit.

SJST almost pulled off the biggest upset of this dynasty but fell on a last second FG 51-48.

I had the ball on their side of the 50 but my QB fumbled the ball on a corner blitz sack and my defense couldn't make a stop in the 4th at all.

JB's recruiting is the last thing for the week.

Does anyone know who jordanpenny was? Not sure how he joined the od but I removed him.

My 5* RB exploded onto the scene lmao. He had one costly fumble though when we were putting the game away. Looks like FIU will try to keep a 50/50 ratio this seaso since the line is too horrible to block for me to pass like I would like too. This past game we put up 200+ rushing and passing vs. UCLA....NOW we have some real test coming up soon vs. Miss. State.

I sent a text to everyone but the OD is FUBAR'd and I had to reload it to the start of Week 1. Everyone should have an invite; choose "Use Existing Coach" and then select their former position.
Everyone should retain their same contract, same coaching record, etc. but let me know if you see anything odd. Obviously the really bad thing is that we had several "upsets" and obviously this will have to be replayed. As well though, I had a Week 1 instant-commit and he didn't instant-commit this time.

All that said, I'll set a deadline of 2/1 but would like to get back on track as quickly as possible so the sooner you finish it, the better.

Arkansas State loses in the rematch against #5 Wisconsin 37-38. The Red Wolves mounted an impressive comeback down 28-3 at the half, eventually scoring a presumed game-tying touchdown with 3:16 remaining in the game only to have kicker Brian Davis miss the extra point allowing the Badgers to run out the remainder of the time for the one-point victory. Davis also missed a 40 yard field goal off of the upright earlier in the game.

Of course we're all going to lose 2nd time around 47-40 in double overtime, Meadlock fumbles on a sack that prob. should have been reviewed.

Damn, lost another close game. So much fun!

I really think I may compete for my first bowl bid as defensive coordinator. That would be sweet!!
