Who do you want to see on the cover of NCAA Football 13? Each year, some of the first game-related info surrounding NCAA Football is of the cover athlete. Last year, fans voted for the NCAA Football 12 cover athlete and it seems logical to expect some sort of fan voting once again given the success of cover votes for NCAA 12, Madden NFL 12 and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13.

The Gaming Tailgate asked our Twitter followers and Facebook fans to tell us who they would like to see on the cover of NCAA Football 13 this coming July. Taking their requests, we have formulated a list of potential candidates for the NCAA 13 cover. Continue on to see who we feel are the favorites and vote for your pick, players on the radar and a brief look at players who are on track to grace the cover of NCAA Football in the future.

RG3, can't argue against the Heisman winner.

Robert Griffin III. For a future edition of the game, I would like to see South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore on the cover.

I'd be happy with RGIII or Blackmon.

I'd say RG3, or Luck.

Lol at someone (probably snoop or Eric) suggesting Devon Still. Great player, but I can't see any marketing people okaying Penn State. :D

Russell Wilson, but I think Montee Ball deserves it more for the season he had with almost 2000 yards and being tied with Barry Sanders while still having a stud like RW at QB.

Ball isn't eligible because he is returning to Wisconsin.

It'll be Luck. He'll be the number 1 pick in the draft and will get the nod.

Do you guys want multi covers athletes or just a single cover athlete?
For me it doesnt really matter.
I believe they would want a marketable guy and a well known athlete. That is why I mainly see Luck or RG3, maybe Blackmon. All good character guys and well-known around sports. I doubt Richardson because Mark Ingram won it last year.
I think they might do the Voting Poll again this year to decide the Cover. I really hope that we dont have to Like/Follow them on FB/Twitter to get info this year like last year

I voted for James cause I'm a Ducks fan, but it would be great to have one player from the top 5 to 10 teams.

I don't have any strong feelings. I voted for RGIII but I would be fine with Blackmon, Luck or James. Kellen Moore would be good too. I wouldn't want to see Richardson after Ingram got the call last year.

Melvin Ingram, Courtney Upshaw, Morris Claiborne, Dre Kirkpatrick. Hard to choose between them, but defense, please.

While it would be nice, seems the public is pushed more towards the flash that an offensive player can bring.

While i stopped caring about the cover guy, i will attempt to be objective about this. 1. It wont be another Bama guy since Ingram was on last year.2. Probably a QB since it rotates mostly around offense but a WR would be different.3. I would say either RG3, Luck or my long shot would be Blackmon. But at the end of the day...its all about who signs the deal.

Not gonna happen. The NCAA would be sued into eternity.

Or a vote. Last year there were four options we could vote for. Not sure if they are doing that again.

Alot/Most of the info was given out through voting, like/following,subscribing last year. I think they might do it again. But, it will be difficult to a degree since alot of people who got the game last year. So, unless a lot of new gamers come through, it will be hard to do the FB/Twitter thing this year

While I agree, it won't be Richardson, it should be noted that NHL put Chicago Blackhawks players on consecutive covers.

Why are we leaving underated players like Keenum out?!

Why are we leaving underated players like Keenum out?!I'd guess it's the Zabransky effect. Lots of "who's the guy on the cover" that year. Even with as great a season as Keenam has had, he's not going to be a marquee endorser. That said, if it was going to be a QB, I'd love to see him on there.

What they need to do, is make Coaching Carousel 2.0 the top back of the box feature, then have Joe Paterno on the cover to tie the cover in with CC 2.0.

I'm thinking Luck or Griffiin III, but there are alot of great canadates that it can be. Would be cool to see a defense player.
