my OD partner is done because college season is over. my plan is to play a couple more seasons with moving guys positions on D. this makes 215+ lb FS hard hitters with speed like GOLD. they can play LB and DE... this going to be sick.

any other position changes i should consider?

Looks like this is the way to go with switching positions on defense...

FS make the best FS
FS make the best SS
CB make the best CB
FS and SS make the best LB
FS, SS, LB make best DE
DE and DT make best DT

So looks like i will be recruiting ALL the FS i can that have some size and strength!

most of my D is out of nickel... what i am wondering is if 2 speed ends are the way to go or 1 speed end and one stronger run stopper type end. same goes for DT position. is it better to put big slow strong run stoppers or convert high end DE's to DT's?

It's a common cheesy ass online tactic of subbing in FSs at DE because of the speed that they have with MINIMAL loss to being able to play the run. It's REALLY lame to do against another human opponent because it's so damn broken.

yeah i agree. this is why we had this house ruled out for our OD. however before i quit the game entirely i wanted to "take the gloves off" and explore this cheesing vs the CPU. my annual sack totals are going to be sick despite me only playing top teams. that dude i listed above is fast. will i see the same effect for FS at LB?

Yes, you definitely will. It's ridiculous how easy it is to cheese the hell out of the game with just getting pure speed at those positions, especially if they are 6'4" or more. It's like having giants for LBs as the amount of swats (and INTs) that they can get are just ridiculous.

Played Oregon in the NC of my season 9 in the most lopsided game I have ever played. I guess the hurry up offense implodes on even a CPU team if they lose momentum which they did early.

Damn man, run the ball and chew clock. Hahaha just kidding, I just tend to do that once things get out of control.

Wish I had your air attack,

I use to run the ball almost exclusively having games where I would finish with LESS than 10 yards passing!!!! LOL

I basically used 1 dynasty season to go through growing pains of throwing the ball. My defense was so good that even though I might throw 6 picks in 1 game I could still win the game because my D could step up and hold the CPU. (by the way, this is the coolest thing about this year's game if you ask me is that even on Heisman I don't feel cheated like I use to with superior talent. this year if you get the talent, the game is yours to lose)

Anyways, I line up in 4 WR sets almost exclusively and simply let the D get set and then pick them apart. Once you play the game enough and learn where the zones open up passing goes from what seems like impossible to SUPER EASY. You simply have to go through the growing pains of learning where the holes will be and ANTICIPATING them so you can time the pass so that it gets to the WR before the next layer of zone defense. Against man simply run the ball or throw a couple slants out there and wait for someone to get a step.

I have more fun on DEFENSE these days then offense. My defense is just siiiiiick with the 6'5" CB that I picked up... He is a total shutdown corner like I have never seen before. If my team didn't get as many sacks as they do (so the other team could actually get more passes off) my tall CB would have some freaking INT numbers.
