FAU Wins 31-21 Over Army!

The Owls continue their winning season, as they beat the Army Black Knights 31-21. Again it was the running game that carried the Owls. But despite this the Owls only had a 10-7 halftime lead. Both teams would score 14 points in the 3rd qtr. Including a 58 yard TD pass from the Owls with 2 seconds remaining in the 3rd qtr, which put the Owls up by 3 points heading into the 4th qtr. It was then that the Owls offense was needed to run the clock out once again. Which not only were they able to do, but they added a TD with just 28 seconds left to give them a 10 point lead,and eventually the win. The Owls were once again led by Travis Jones with another good day rushing. He had 170 yards on 38 carries, and 2 TD's. The surprise was the Owls QB Kool, who went 7-11 for 139 yards and 1 TD. Overall the Owls racked up 409 total offensive yards, with no turnovers. Which has been a huge key this year, as they are at +4 right now on the year. Coach Willard said that he is very impressed with what they have done so far. They have worked hard, and been fairly effecient. We are not trying to do anything that we cant, and I think that has help us. We also are getting alot of help from our D this year. They are making stops that they didnt last year, and their play is keeping us in the games. Next week the Owls open up Sun Belt play with a home game against the UL Lafayette Ragin Cajuns.

Sorry, Momentum + a much better rated team hurt. Luckily your QB only got a concussion in the 2nd half, could have been more serious with all the tackles he took.

Baylor wins 61-12 , oddly enough both teams had exactly 395 yards of offense, I hope Atms agrees that i did try my best to not run up the score past the 30 points mark that is a league rule, I also figured out in online games you cannot sub in the second string at all.
