Buffalo Wins its 7th straight against Bowling Green in a wild game on the Frozen Tundra in Buffalo, NY

Final Score 38-21 but the lead changed hands several times, and crucial user picks in the 4th quarter won the game.
Injuries were a problem for both teams as both teams lost their starting Running backs and Buffalo lost their only backup running back, forcing Star WR Rivers to close out the game at rb, a great performance on senior day.

The 16 mph gusts caused six interceptions and stopped Buffalo QB Joe Licata from breaking the All time passing yardage record, but now has 2 more games to get 20 yards.

the 1st half made it seem that buffalo could not get Bowling green's offense off the field but a Fumbled punt return by BG help keep the momentum even.

I'm done kicking my dog now.

Bowling Green had a chance to upset the first place Buffalo Bulls but could not handle their nasty weather, hostile environment, and good user skills. In the first quarter, our first two offensive plays were a huge sack and an over throw of a wide open WR. A big pass play converted a 3rd and 20 and got us the Big Mo. We continued strong until finally scoring. After forcing a punt, BG was poised to pad their lead, but a bad decision to field and run turned into a fumble. Buffalo settled for an FG, but Bowling Green never got hot again.

The lead switched hands back and forth. For three quarters, it was an great game. 21-16 going into the fourth quarter to decide the East Division. We folded like a card table. Not once, but twice we tried to pick on the guy Amish's was covering and twice he burned me. We couldn't complete a pass to save our season. My QB was ohfer the 4th as Buffalo hung up 22 unanswered to run away and hide.

The cold made guys brittle. my starting RB was concussed and went home. My QB took a powder with an unknown ailment. Even Buffalo lost both their RBs. But we couldn't knock out the QB and he made the big plays when it mattered.

Good game, Amish. Good luck in the Conf Game and with your bowl. I'll advance in the AM.

FAU moves to 4-7!

The Owls continue to try and win their final games. No self respecting FAU fan will be happy with this year, but atleast they can say that thier guys haven't quit yet. The Owls defeated UAB 30-16 on a raining afternoon. The Owls fell behind 13-0 early, but 14 points in the second qtr gave the Owls a 14-13 halftime lead. UAB took the early second half lead on a FG, but then the Owls would go on a 16 point run to end the game. The head coach decided to go for 2, 2 point conversions on the Owls last two scores which Coach Willard called two great plays and the Owls converted both. The Owls leaned heavily on their running game. The Owls ran the ball 76 times, for close to 300 yards. Unfortunately the Owls had 3 turnovers, and missed out on 2 redzone opportunities. Coach Willard said after the game that his offense seems to be coming along. He said he wants them to get more efficient on 3rd downs, limit negative plays, and limit the penalties. The Owls have missed out on alot of big plays this year due to many holding calls. Coach Willard also said that they need to improve in the passing game. "We give up too many sacks, and need to get the ball out alot quicker." Coach Willard must be impressing the FAU AD as his approval rating is up to 65%, which is very impressive seeing as they only have 4 wins. Next week the Owls will close out their season agains UL Monroe. Hopefully the Owls can keep the winning going, and finish the year on a possitive not.

FAU ready to advance.
