North Texas secures a bowl bid with a 35-28 win over ULL. North Texas was up to a 35-7 lead, but then the ULL defense stepped it up, and the offense followed suit. NT has Arkansas State left, if they are able to beat ASU and then win the bowl game, they will have completed all challenges in the contract. With a 97% contract rating at this moment, it will seem like Coach Bennett will be moving on from North Texas at the end of the year.

Maryland beats Wake Forest 27-0. If Miami can upset NC State, the Terps will advance to the ACC Championship Game. The win puts them in contention for an at-large BCS bid.
