Coach Willard is looking for answers for his Owls. They lose, in a beat down by MTSU, 52-28. The Owls were down, but stormed back with 21 unanswered points in the 3rd Qtr to get within 7. But thats when the Blue Raiders kicked it into high gear, and scored 17 unanswered points in the 4th. It looked like the Owls defense just hasnt been able to stop anyone this year. They gave up 440 yards and 4 TD's through the air, and another 100 yards or so and 3 more TD's on the ground. This drops the Owls to 1-6 on the year. If this continues, it looks like there might be 3 coaching vacancies at Florida Atlantic next spring. Next up the Owls have an off week to work on somethings before hosting Arkansas St. the following week. Every game now becomes a playoff as the Owls have to win out in order to get a bowl invitation.
