Fyi.. after my first game against NT, game said lost connection for about 3 minutes. So I reset. It was a win, not as good as the second one but I didn't want any doubters. ULL puts up 76 in drubbing of NT..

You too man, I'm sorry I gave you back your 17 points, lol. But seriously nicely played game. Wish we didn't have to deal with the lag, but I guess it is what it is.

Bowling Green gets all they can handle with their hated rivals in our first true MACk test. We played for the Peace Pipe Trophy in the Battle of I-75, and the Rockets came to play. The good guys made the home fans happy by scoring the first TD, and then the Rockets went off. They responded with a TD to tie. Then they forced a fumble of the KO and scored again. On our next possesion, my QB threw a TAINT and it looked like the rout was on. We fought back to tie on a 64 yard run by Jonathan Hopgood. In fact, we hung 21 of our own in the second quarter. Thanks to a missed FG by Toledo, we ended the half 35-28.

The second half was all D. BG could only muster one field goal, but it was a huge one. After a scoreless third quarter, the Rockets tied the game with a minute left. The play of the game was an overthrown pass from Matt Schilz to Kamar Jordan that hit the safety in the back and bounced in to Jordan's hands. That got us over midfield and into FG range. We pounded out a little more time and called a time out with three seconds left. Jerry Phillips made the 23 yarder and Bowling Green wins 38-35.

That's win #6 for us, in an amazing start to the year. Next week we host the Temple Owls, who will be angry about the beat down they just suffered to Buffalo.
