Will wonders never cease. Bowling Green shocks Western Michigan 39-21. Matt Schilz threw for 394 yards, 3 TDs and 2 INTs, and Jonathan Hopgood ran for 154 and a TD. The defense forced three turnovers and overall the team played one of its best games. We still struggle with penalties, though. It seems 3 or 4 times a game we give up critical first downs on a penalty. Can't figure out how to stop that.
Next week we return home to face arch rival Toledo, and the battle for the I-75 trophy.

I figured that. I wondered why you didn't take them last year. Didn't they qualify? I ran a few practice games vs. them when I started with BG. They smoked me once, and I played even through 3 quarters, when I had to bail on the game. We'll see....

No they were a 2* school, plus I think they're offense was like a 74 or something too. Maybe one day, lol

Buffalo continues its MAC dominance with a 46-34 win over undefeated Ohio.
True Freshman Joe Licata breaks the NCAA Passing Record with 723 passing yards on 40 attempts. including 12 catches for 5th Year senior Marcus Rivers for 509 yards and 1 TD.
It seems that Buffalo's speedy passing attack might be too much for the MAC.
