it can be, but like the couple of threads that i remembered seeing were the dreadlocks thread and the broadcast cam thread (i think this was for ncaa11). both of them reached close to like 100 pages and were filled with people going insane and how they werent gonna buy the next ncaa game if these items werent in the game.

i understand having a passion for this game, but to completely base a decision of not buying the game, all because of a hairstyle or a camera angle is rediculous, imo.

i poured cement today at work, and we have this machine that vibrates the cement to get it all smooth and stuff....anyways, there's this handle that connects to the machine so you can steer it, and then a rope goes around your waist so you can pull the entire thing too. well the machine got stuck at a certain point and i started pulling on the rope to lift the machine up and back into position at the same time....my grip on the rope slipped a tiny bit, and when i looked at my hand, i saw that i had ripped a callus completely off of my finger.

And, according to Joe Montana (on the team at the same time as Rudy) the story is INCREDIBLY embellished and "Hollywoodized" but it does make a good story, even if you have to wonder why he deserves a movie. It's not too bad here right now. We had a slew of severe thunderstorms passing through from around noonish until 3:30-4pm. Not that there is ever a smart way to do drugs but I was in my mid 20's, always put my self in a safe environment, and the most important part...I only tried things 2 to 3 times. Weed was a different story. I was a pothead. Smoked everyday for 7 years. In that time I graduated college with a 3.00 GPA, did it in 3.5 yrs, then got a job. Once I met my wife I quit and that was it. No withdraws not really anything. Maybe grumpy for a few day but that was it.

Yeah, I'm the same way, I have never become an addict to something. Granted, I've never really done anything drug-wise besides having tried pot twice, that's it. As for other stuff I've smoked cigarettes a couple times back when I was in high school, though those were the only time. I've smoked maybe 10 cigarettes in my life. I do like to enjoy a cigar now and then, especially the better quality, smooth taste ones. But I haven't had a cigar in probably a year or so now and never had an issue just stopping one night and not touching another one.

Even alcohol, I don't drink all that often. It's been I think since the first weekend of May that I have had even a drop of alcohol. Now, I've downed enough alcohol in my life, even long before I turned 21, that I can pretty much outdrink almost every person that I personally know in life. There are only maybe a handful of friends that I was in college with that could probably outdrink me, but not by much. Even liquor, I'll drink whiskey, scotch, rum, brandy, vodka, tequila, gin, etc. I'll drink all of those straight up, hell, even straight from the bottle if need be. But I can put it down at the night and not touch it again for a year if I want to.

Nothing has ever caused me to become addicted. I can smoke all I want and just suddenly stop and put it down without a problem. I can go on a weeklong alcohol bender and just stop cold turkey and not have any issue. So yeah, I'm in that same boat. There has never been anything, neither alcohol or drug-wise, or something completely different, to make me addict, so I'm one of those lucky ones that are able to risk trying different stuff and never have an issue.

Truthfully, that's why I barely talk to any of my family anymore. Between the fact that most of them are morons that just piss me off at their narrow view of life and the world and the fact that all they do is attempt to backstab one another. Yeah been having a hard time waking up in the mornings still....and since I'm nearly out of time off for this year, I have been taking in-week absences unpaid and making it up on Saturdays. It's easy when you live across the street from work to come in on a Saturday :D

Only until late September, it's covered under FMLA only til then :fp: so I'll really have to try to fight it the last three months of the year. Trying to get an extension to the end of the year, and for some reason the doctor won't do it at this time.
