So when I go jogging on the weekends at this local park, there is a midget that jogs the same time I do. I used to feel bad when I would pass him up as he was doing the best he could, his little legs just going as fast as they can. The Court held said regulations do not violate the 1st Amendment following the case law previously decided by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals (which the USDC WD TX "must"/should do).

The "steal cars" portion you were referring to was the Court citing another/separate case where the criminal defendants went on a grand theft auto spree after leaving a strip club. The Court was citing this (and other cases - somewhat jokingly) for the proposition that crazy stuff (a.k.a more crime) tends to happen in/around/near strip clubs.

As long as I don't have to deal with an entire month of goddamn 100-115 degree highs with muggy as all hell conditions like last June. That shit may be the norm down in Oklahoma, Texas and the deep south, but it is NOT the norm here in NW Ohio.

Even with an air conditioner running 24/7 (the shitty piece of crap it may have been), there were some days last summer that I honestly believe I ended up heat sick just laying on the coach trying to move as little as possible. The room I spend most of my time in felt like it was easily 90-95 during the late afternoons and evenings, and with a window air conditioner going in the next room and two floor fans running, one to direct the AC cooled air in my direction and one blowing directly on me, I still ended up sick to my stomach, light headed, nauseous and a tingling feeling in my fingers and toes, all while gulping down water nonstop like a damn fish.

Every night I'd have to go stop whatever I was doing on my laptop, the TV, etc, and just pull up a chair and sit literally right up against the AC, and usually end up there for at least an hour or two before I'd start to feel like I wasn't about to vomit. We've never had the need for central air around here just because the worst it would usually get is mid to upper 90s, for at most a couple days here and there throughout the summer. Before hitting 100 for one day back in 2011, it had not been 100 or higher here in NW Ohio since 1995. 2011 we had one day at 100+, last year, we had multiple weeks, damn near an entire month at 100+. Otherwise, a window AC has always been enough to keep the entire house at least reasonably cooled. Last summer, it didn't do shit.

We are lucky here. Sure we get weeks at a time of 100 degree weather but it is a dry heat. It's those poor bastards in East Texas that have to deal with the heat and humidity.

That's what it was for us up here last summer. We got all the heat AND all the humidity, making it absolutely miserable outside. I changed my entire work schedule last summer, any day of the week, so I was going into work between 11pm and 9am to get my stuff done, just because I had no desire to drive into work in that crap. Even with central air provided by an industrial AC unit, the entire building up at work would still suck to be in during the day, unless the thermostat was dropped clear down to like 50 degrees.

Today is the Kentucky Oaks and tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby. Mass hysteria has hit the Louisville area as people go nuts trying to get to the store for last minute items for their Derby parties. The streets around Churchill Downs have become flooded with vehicles and patrons alike. Nightclubs will explode with a large volume of people.

I feel so honored to reach my 9,00th post.

All of my hard work and dedication has paid off. Getting to 9,000 posts has been a dream of mine for many years, and I would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost I would like to thank god for giving me this opportunity. Next I would like to thank my parents. I want to thank my friend Peter Griffin for being really skinny and always there for me. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole for surviving against all odds for over a week.

Next I would like to thank the squirrel that lives in my backyard for climbing trees because that gives me inspiration that I need to get through the day. This is a special moment in my life and I would like to thank any of my unmentioned friends and family that have helped me along the way. This moment will be a moment that I will never forget.

I just remembered a few other people I would like to thank; TGT, the fish I caught in the third grade, my light in my room because I wouldn't be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me come on here, my house because without it I would be homeless, and last but not least I would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this.

I cannot stress how much of a big deal to me this is. I have been trying to reach 9,000 posts for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. Sure, the crazy success of Nevermind meant that many Eighties superstars seemed like premature has-beens, but that was inevitable. Country Joe and the Fish didn't seem very cool in 1971, either. Times change. Fans move on. You're often only as big as your last hit. But Nirvana were a great band. Their three albums are nearly perfect, and they are guaranteed to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year. We're sorry, but everyone who voted for them in this poll is wrong.

I like old AC/DC. Just like I like old Metallica. I'm not sure if you're comparing me to the way people voted or not but, to be clear, I'd absolutely say that AC/DC was one of the best bands of the seventies/early eighties and I'd say Metallica was one of the best of the eighties. Since then? No.

For the love of god are people fucking dumbasses. I was traveling through town today, on my way to work after swinging by the gas station and was coming across the north side bridge headed into downtown when I came across the biggest dumbass I have personally witnessed so far in 2013.

Besides making what I assume was an illegal left turn from the northbound lanes on Clinton Street downtown onto a little side street next to the bridge that briefly runs along the river and then swings back around to the left towards downtown, even worse, the dumbass goes INTO the oncoming lanes to make the turn, but then just comes to a complete stop instead of turning because there traffic is coming across the bridge.

Brilliant move there dumbshit. Now I'm forced to slam on my brakes coming off the bridge to avoid the head-on collision and they proceed to still just sit there for another 10+ seconds before making the turn. How the fuck do these dumbasses ever pass their driving tests? Christ, do they give out drivers licenses as a prize in a goddamn box of cereal these days?

For years I have been somehow managing to avoid getting into an accident with these dumbasses (to date the only accident I have been in was smoking Bambi at 60 MPH on US 24 back in June 2006) but I am becoming more and more tempted with each passing day to just say fuck it and plow into them, at least if the accident would ultimately be their fault.

I had said for years when it came time to get rid of my old car, I'd just let these dumbasses hit me and then collect the insurance money to use towards a new car, but the damn transmission decided it wanted to go and die first. I would have been tempted to just say fuck it this morning and hit the gas instead of the brake, but it was 6:40, I had to be in-studio by 6:55 and so didn't have the time to deal with the police and everything else from getting into an accident. Plus I still drive a car, so it would have only been a tie. I'll only intentionally get into an accident if I know for a fact I'll win, aka, I eventually buy a truck someday. But someday, someday some dumbfuck is going to make his presence known and my stupidity tolerance level is going to be reached and topped and I am going to say fuck it.

If you are voting in OH you must be a resident of OH and thus must be entitled to in-state tuition for any state institutions.

Seems to me the GOP wants to make sure students get a cheaper education and the liberal media tries to spin it as voter suppression b/c it attacks a the cherished liberal academic establishment from unfairly charging students tuition rates they are not entitled to.

I hope to god I end up getting this other job I applied for. While I'll still try and keep some hours with the OTHER stations I work for with HS sports and weekend shows, since things aren't run like a fucking circus at those stations, I am dropping this Saturday morning shit in an instant. I've dealt with this crap long enough.

Between getting up in the middle of the fucking night, completely killing every Saturday for me because I end up sleeping the rest of the day after work, and then fucking up my sleep cycle for the rest of the week, I've had more than my fill of this bullshit with the birthday club and then opinionated fucktards calling all the time to bitch about some of the most stupid bullshit imaginable that only they would give a fuck about.

Three years of this bullshit is enough. This morning show shit was fun at first, but now it does nothing but piss me the fuck off every single week. Time to let some other poor fucker get stuck with this shit for a while.

God I hate the people in this county. Between the bunch of old fucks who feel the need to bitch about any and every goddamn thing they can possibly find to bitch about and then the fuckers who abuse this stupid ass birthday club shit.

The worst at the dumbasses who send in 10+ different emails for the same damn person, "addressing" it from different family members, but all sent from the same damn email at the same time. Heaven forbid the combine names into one or two damn emails. The fact that there have been days where it has taken 10-11 minutes to do a goddamn birthday club is ridiculous. Today isn't any better. By the time I'll get done, it'll be up around 7-8 minutes total.

Like I said, after three years of this shit every single Saturday without break, I'm through. I've reached my tolerance level of dealing with this shit. Now to wait and see if I get this other job, move into a truly regular full time position with actual regular goddamn hours instead of this mickey mouse bullshit I'm dealing with here, and get the hell out of here as fast as I can. Maybe I can then actually have a normal sleep cycle (even if it's working 3rd shift or something, at least it'll be NORMAL shifts) and actually have a damn weekend for a change.
