Jim Parsons, who plays arrogant nerd Sheldon on CBS' hit comedy The Big Bang Theory, has found a very modest way to announce that he is ***.

In an interview with the New York Times, Parsons discusses his recent work on Broadway, which includes playing a *** activist in The Normal Heart.

In reporting Parsons' affinity for the play, author Patrick Healy revealed something that has been long speculated. "The Normal Heart resonated with him on a few levels: Mr. Parsons is *** and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment," he wrote.

The Emerald Guardian's sexuality was rebooted along with the rest of his fictional universe as part of DC's "New 52" initiative aimed at rejuvenating their characters.

Robinson said he decided to make the change because making the character young again meant erasing Scott's *** superhero son out of existence.

"The only downside of his being young was we lose his son, Obsidian, who's ***. So I thought, 'Why not make Alan Scott ***?'" Robinson recalled. "That was the seed that started it."

He ran his idea by the bosses at DC, "who signed off on it without hesitation."

The character is different than the more modern Green Lantern, ladies' man Hal Jordan, who stars in his own comics and is a member of an extraterrestrial police force called the Green Lantern Corps. Jordan's also part of DC's Justice League with Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, the Flash and Aquaman.

In the current "New 52" continuity, the Alan Scott Green Lantern and the Justice Society operate in a different universe than the Justice League. Robinson said in the "Earth 2" universe, Scott is the sole Green Lantern, and "the strongest, most important super-powered character" in the world.

While a *** wedding in Archie Comics earlier this year and impending same-sex nuptials in a Marvel X-Men comic have recieved a small amount of backlash from angry parents, Robinson said he's not worried about that because "that kind of negativity is stupid and outmoded."

"We should be preaching love and tolerance," he said.

There was a contest, sponsored by EA, on OS over the last 8 weeks of the Premier League season.

Each week, they gave you 3 players to choose from. You had to pick the player that would have the highest Performance Index that week. A winner was drawn from those who got the right player. I didn't know about it until the sixth week, but each of the three times I entered I guessed correctly. The final week, I was drawn to win the weekly prize.

Today, it arrived. A Blackburn Rovers jersey signed by 19 members of the 2011-12 first team. Sweet!

REALLY great movie. I need to watch it again. Haven't seen it since opening day in the theater. It was the best movie of 2011 in my opinion.

So, I've never seen Drive before, but I have heard about it a lot. So alright, I got the monthly text message for a free rental code from Red Box yesterday. There was another movie I wanted to check out, so I reserved that movie online, went out to Walmart, and then used my free rental code to pick up Drive while I was there getting my reserved movie. Watching it right now, about 20 minutes in.

So you guys could be right, he very well could have been dying and just driving off into the sunset at the end there, though he didn't quite seem like he was in the process of dying at the very last scene. He almost looked like he was just driving away from the city.

As mors said, he obviously didn't give the money to the woman because otherwise they would be in danger and it would only be a matter of time before the mob got to them. So he left it with the dead guy, and very well could have just driven off and left his old life behind. It would have been the safest way for everyone involved. If he stays around, her and the kid could still end up in danger if the mob keeps trying to get to him, so he drives off and leaves town and leaves everything behind him for an unknown future.

Definitely a good movie though. If it didn't have to be back by 9pm tonight, I'd give it another watch later tonight or tomorrow. I'll definitely have to look at possibly buying it sometime, as it was a good movie.

Yep, I did not know a single thing about the movie. All I knew was the "tag line" of stunt driver by day, getaway driver by night. That was it. I had no clue of what it was fully about, no clue of what to expect, so I had pretty much no expectations at all.

Just goes to show, if it isn't already completely dead then it's damn near, that sportsmanship from the spectator's perspective is dead. Which isn't surprising when I've seen and heard kids in football get heckled or get crap from their parents because they helped a kid on the opposing team up off the ground after a play or tackle.

Really, the only reason to go higher than the 15/5 is if you want better upload speeds (if you plan on doing anything that actually requires such things), otherwise, once you hit 15 megs/sec, it's all throughput to the actual servers that would bog you down (aka peak hours of Youtube where shit goes slow no matter how fast your internet is).

15/5 is MORE than enough for online gaming and watching streaming TV. Hell, it's enough to pirate shit at a pretty ridiculous rate AND still playing a game online or watch streaming TV with no hiccups in either thing.


All that said, me personally, if the 50/25 wasn't ridiculous expensive, I'd go with it because more is ALWAYS better. ;)

I do. But when he posts in the middle of a discussion in other threads, or in this case were MVP made a comment about his post, I glance at the post to see what was said so I can keep up with the discussion and fully understand the comments others make in the thread.

As for my post, now that I've gotten that said and out of me and have cooled off, to JB, G and cdj, my apologies for going off like that, but I still stand by what I said and will accept any warnings or other consequences you might feel need to be handed out.
