West Virginia is too much trouble for Bowling Green. After racing out to a 21-0 lead, the Falcons fought back cut the deficit to 28-21. That was our wad, though. We could only muster a pair of FGs in the second half as the Mountaineers pulled away.

The final score is 49-27. BG QB Matt Schilz throws for 434 in the loss, with three INTs. Next week we conclude our roadtrip with a visit to Kalamazoo, MI and the Western Michigan Broncos.

Buffalo at Tennessee was a wild one on regional broadcast TV

Buffalo couldn't pull off the upset in Knoxville, losing 83-40 . The crazy part was that each team had almost 100 plays from scrimmage EACH.
Being down 28-0 in the first buffalo had to abandon the run early as Tennessee would get the famed 2 for 1 TD, buffalo Def allows an easy score then fumble the next kickoff for another TD.

Apparently a huge lead was not enough for this SEC team as they had to be running no huddle considering the time their drives took off. a good note for buffalo is that they had 31 first downs to Tenn's 33, ha.
School records were broken for recieving and passing yards as 2+ injuries to the Buffalo WR core made passing to the Senior Rivers the only option.
