In the mid-week featured game tonight, we have the Wildcats of Arizona traveling to Provo Utah to meet up with BYU. These teams are young, but make no mistake... Both sides have talent and will be fired up for this long time rivalry. With Coach Kernzy and Coach Davis' long history of coaching against each other, one thing is for certain: all the stops will be pulled out by each side in order to bring home the victory. Stay tuned for a full recap and game analysis after the match!

This is when I wish there was a 'watch' feature on NCAA 12

I'll try to save some highlight videos as well and maybe if Gnarly and I both do that we'll have a a few videos of big plays from the game.

That'd be great, wouldn't it, Marty? We've both taken our share of beatings at each others hand, but most often the games go down to the wire. Ask Coach K about his Florida State fumble going in for a winning TD a few years ago in te ACC championship that ultimately sent me to the National Championship game. ;-) Sorry to twist the knife, Coach K!

Sounds like my good friend Kiel and I's matchups. It's either complete domination, or the closest possible game you can play.

I'm sure Gnarly will do a better write up than me because he has a certain flare for that more so than me but I'll give you the short and sweet of it.
My QB played horribly and that's probably due to my poor playcalling in this one. Grarly called a better game than me and thus gut a well deserved win 17-0. I sniffed the endzone late in garbage time but again poor QB play and solid defense sealed the convincing win for Gnarly, congrats man.

Well, the first BYU/ARIZONA match-up is in the books. This game was tough fought, with the final outcome not truly indicative of how the teams played.
This match was a defensive slugfest, where neither team could mount much offense. The scoring seal was broken when BYU's safety broke on a long, cross field pass stepping in front of the intended receiver for the pick. Only one man stood between him and the endzone, and unfortunately that man had the boom lowered on him as he was barreled over en route to a long TD return. As it turns out, the BYU defense played well enough this night that this score would be all they needed.
Two more interceptions, a couple of key sacks, and a 30 yard touchdown scamper around the right side would seal the deal.
Great game coach. You might need to have that QB of yours study some film and watch for LBs over the middle. :-)
