We are now only a few months out from the release of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13. However, our first taste of next year's game has arrived today with the cover reveal and some news on game features.

The first game features have also been unveiled on the TW product site:

Headlining the in-game features of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13: The Masters Collector’s Edition is a new Green Jacket presentation ceremony that was developed for winners of the Masters.
The game will also feature all-new experiences around Tiger Woods’ memorable golf accomplishments throughout his lifetime.
TW13 will be the first controller-free, voice-enabled and body tracking sports simulation game to support the Kinect™ motion control system for the Xbox 360® videogame system from Microsoft.

Today EA Sports released the official cover art for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 as well as the first details on a few of the features to expect in the game. Woods is joined on the cover by Rickie Fowler in North America and Rory McIlroy in Europe. The two were voted in through a tournament held in October. Both versions of the cover art can be seen in the FB album.

There will also once again be a Collector’s Edition offered. The cover of that will feature The Masters’ Green Jacket and includes five additional golf courses over the standard version and Augusta National’s Par 3 course and world-class tournament practice facility.

Tiger Woods 13 will include a special Green Jacket presentation ceremony for the winners and all-new challenges centered around Tiger Woods’ memorable golf accomplishments over the entirety of his career. It will also be the first sim-based sports title to offer a full Kinect for Xbox 360 experience including voice commands and full body tracking.

Well I guess a Kinect will be on my to-purchase list for next year. Collectors Edition for me.

I will say this, EA better get the new Pinehurst #2 in the game this year.

For those who have not seen it. Grass rough was completely eliminated.

if I need to purchase the Playstation network.PSN is free. Playstation Plus is a subscription service that has some benefits, but probably nothing Tiger related.

Never played this series before but after all the praise I may be considering it. The videos look awesome. The only thing though is that I don't know too much about golf.

It is going to be much different it appears for 13 then it is currently on 12, but I think you would enjoy yourself with this purchase. We have a pretty good time with it :nod:

Just play with the caddy turned on and all the other do-dads. You wont have to know much about golf with the caddy turned on, he will pretty much set every shot or you. Once you get the hang of the game, turn caddy and do-dads off. This is one game that you can make as easy or as difficult as you wish.
