NCAA Football 12: Team Specific Plays

Each year, NCAA Football playbook designer Anthony White strives to make each team's playbook accurately represent their system and play style. Leading up to the release of NCAA Football each year, Anthony adds in actual plays run by teams that can only be found in their specific playbooks. With NCAA Football 12 adding Custom Playbooks, users can now add these team specific plays to their custom playbook.

Thanks to playbook guru Anthony White & producer Ben Haumiller, NCAA Football fans now have the full list of Team Specific Plays in NCAA Football 12. Of the Team Specific Plays in the game, which ones are your favorites to use?

Off the top of my head, I have both Wisconsin plays in my CPB. Both are great power running plays.

It's not the Diamond, but the final scoring play for NU vs. Michigan was a pretty clever play.

Something similar may be in the game, but if so I don't know what playbook it is in. I want to think Florida had something similar in the past but I don't know if they still do. Given how shocked Urban Meyer was at this play while commentating, I'm guessing maybe not.

That Burkhead option may not be the "best" play of the season, but it's definitely one of the coolest.

that play remind of the HB Option from the Wishbone on NCAA 06, where the QB would hand off to the HB, and the HB would have the second RB as his pitch man, while that 1st HB would be the trigger man. Also, on NCAA 04, in Shotgun Bunch, there was a play where the slot WR would take the hand off on a jet sweep/reverse and the HB becomes the pitch man. I miss those plays and overall depth of playbooks.

Pistol Cross is pretty close to the diamond formation if you use formation subs to take the FB out. It even has the PA wheel route that Green scored on vs Wash (same play Enunwa scored on vs tOSU).

apparently some of these plays apply to a few teams. i just played my smu game in the tgt 360 od, and in the shotgun trips formation, there's a play called "mustang outs," and its identical to the "warrior outs" listed in hawaii's playbook.
