alright i accepted the invite, got in , set board and depth chart. exited. tried to get back in : transfer failed.

hopefully its a week 1 thing as i will try and retire and get reinvited, and i will accept the invite when i am going to play waldner. :/

so try and reinvite me plz.

I think CLW had the fail and so did Gigem. I'll send out new invites shortly. Maybe the issue is me? Would someone else want to reload and send out invites if this fails?

I think the file is corrupt. I have the invite, however, before accepting it you can decline or VIEW the OD. When I go in and view the od settings and teams already taken it again has me already there as Southern Miss, there are 4 or 5 teams already signed up, someone is Georgia, Roady it shows you as Baylor so that's correct but all the others are wrong and some haven't even joined yet, like me, it has me as Southern Miss but I haven't accepted the invite yet.

Works for me. If we go back to 1* teams which is cool by me, maybe we can just pick 1* teams in general without the ratings cap

This thing is indeed turning into a mess. I apologize that EA has totally F'd up ODs this year. If people are still having problems (as they clearly are) that leaves us with 3 options:

(1) see if advancing past week 1 will help (unlikely)

(2) start brand new with completely new dynasty

(3) call it a year and pray 13 will fix the issues


Personally, at this point I think #2 may be our best option. Of course there is no guarantee that we won't run into our Transfer Fail "friend" again but I have a feeling this problem is never going to self correct and our current GBN OD file has been tainted with the Transfer Fail VD.

If we go with #2 how do you guys want to play it?

(a) Start over as OC/DC at < 70 OVR schools
(b) Start over in our "current" positions
(c) Some other format

I vote for vote for #2, a. Just go back to the beginning and grab a team. Now that we've all had a taste for the game and the updates, it should go faster and be more engaging. Or it could be a complete shitstorm that will never improve. But I'll play.

I'm good with any format. Though I do usually enjoy starting with lower teams. If people do not want to do the 1* <70 again. What about any 2/3* school or lower in a non BCS conference. Like I said it doesnt really matter to me. Whatever is decided I'm good with.

I was wondering the samething. Turns out that I can access the current OD just finebut I am still willing to restart if that is what is decided. I was hopeing that this was just quiet due to the holidays. If not everyone wants to continue, I have no problem hosting the OD is people are interested in it continueing.
