Feel free to edit your lists to more than 10...I took 10 out of the title...I think I'm going to go a lot further. Right now I'm just at the rough cut with the 9 I have....no way is it final.

I need to add some STP, old Taproot, old Finger Eleven, (yes there were albums before Paralyzer made it big :D)some more rap with 2Pac, more Outkast, The Roots maybe.....I saw Finger Eleven as one of my first bar concerts back in 2000...I had followed a few Canadian bands like them, Our Lady Peace, Econoline Crush, and yes Nickelback in their early stages.

Well, my problem is, it's impossible for me to have just ten favorite songs. Maybe 10 favorite albums, but I don't listen to music like that. I hear one song from an album, I want to hear the entire thing. I listen to music by album, most of the time, unless I'm bored of everything and then I'll shuffle it all and listen that way, which, normally, just goes until I find a song from an album that I want to hear the whole album.

And yet, you were able to come up with a top 10. There's no freakin' way I'd be able to come up with a top 10, but I think I'm going to spend the next 2 hours trying to (cause I'm bored and have played WAY too much Skyrim in the past three days and need a break before I get burnt out).

Ya, its interesting. My top 10 are all prior to me getting into post rock. I still buy cd's and vinyl in an actual record store. Very few of my albums were bought from iTunes. I don't buy singles either.

Here's the thing about music. It's completely subjective (which makes music review websites, top 10s, best bands ever, etc completely dumb). The music I like, I'm sure quite a few people will hate just like the music you guys like I don't care for. Music, unlike pretty much any other form of media, can range from amazing to horrible depending on the person listening to it and their music interests/tastes.

Even if I was to list 10 albums that I absolutely love, it'd be impossible for me to rank them because I have to be subjective enough about it to put it outside of how I feel right now about them and instead think about them if it was a day where I felt like listening to that particular album; therefore, it's impossible for me to even rank them compared to one another because if I feel like listening to it, I do, otherwise, I don't keep that music around to listen to. So, basically, I could throw my entire collection of mp3s out as my favorite stuff because, if I don't like it enough to listen to it more than a few times over a few weeks/months, then I don't keep it on my HDs to listen to.

Download your mp3 collection to a spreadsheet and post it here. Then I can make fun of your whole library. ;)

I hate popular music. Popular music means that it's been made radio friendly, and therefore shitty. In general, my interests in music vary widely as my collection is missing Fiona Apple, Veruca Salt, and Bjork as well as Fantomas, select Mr Bungle stuff, and Apocalyptica's album Cult (the only one I really care for as it was before they went all radio friendly with *** sounding singers and drummers all the while fading out how amazing their cellos sound)
