I did not see a thread on this but with it coming out next week, just wanting to see who all is picking this one up.

I had originally decided to hold off but I hate having Amazon credits just sitting there so I pre-ordered it (plus it gives me another $10 in store credit). Reviews have all been good and it will be a break from all the serious games that I own.

You just have to love a game that has to be censored in Japan due to having a dildo for a weapon (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/114175-Saints-Row-3-Dildo-Smoothed-Out-in-Japan).

Yeah. It's GTA but not serious at all. AKA, WAY WAY WAY better than shitty GTA games.

Graphically, it's not pretty, but it's hilarious, in a teenager comedy kind of way. I'm gonna play it once I finish with Skyrim (if I finish with Skyrim).

:D Yeah the more I think about it, if I wait it will become cheaper and I can see what the DLC will be like. Skyrim will probably eat so much of my time it will just sit there unopened.

What s funny is that is the beauty of SR3 or any of them honestly outside of the first one. They are just silly and you truly haven't seen an openworld crime kinda game until u have played this the character customization alone has made me want every game that comes out to haven't the kind of flexibility this game has.

You can actually download the initiation station and create your character. You can even customize your cars in this game, unless you are something like a GTA purest then you should check this out but it really not like GTA at all which sucks because people always want to compare the two. The first saints was really close to GTA but not anymore even the SR2 was completely different

It may seem like sexist silliness, but this game is all about equality.


The comments section below the article is priceless in a sad sort of way, nerds might be the most sexist people on the planet. I am all for females in gaming and felt horrible for the crap Jade Raymond at Ubi had to put up with. That said we are in an industry where women gladly whore themselves out to attract the nerds. I just started playing it thanks to it being free for Xbox Gold members. It's pretty awesome. The game goes from 1 outrageous scenario to another and it's so fun!
