Well UCLA still got a BCS bowl against TCU so that nice,
Coach Jorgensen's players reel in some hardware once again, with Cassius Marsh getting the Bednarik, Nagurski, And Lombardi Trophy with his 29 sack performance with one game to go, NCAA Record ?!?!?
Free Safety Mascarenas came home with the Thorpe trophy with his 95 tackles carrying the UCLA defense.
While I normally grab the top FS trophy i have yet to beat The Commish's LBs as he get another award there along with A HEISMAN TROPHY for the star player on the other side of the ball for Tenn. - iguess it helps that your stout def gave him 100+ more carries than other rbs. Also Tenn racks up every O lineman award along with best Punter.
And in the BCS TITLE GAME : TENNESEE vs UCF<===?????? well it looks like the conference USA wants to follow the ole Rice Coach.

UCLA UPSETS BIG 12 CHAMPION TCU in amazing fashion 26-21
1st qtr : UCLA jumps out to a quick 14-0 lead off of a defensive TD off of a bad TCU option pitch
2nd qtr: TCU burns the UCLA Def for 2 quick scores to bring the game close 17-14
3rd qtr: a defensive struggle as the UCLA offense cannot score points even if they are given 1st and goal to start their drive. 17-14
4th qtr: The UCLA def continues to create opportunities for nothing as the UCLA kicker misses 4 straight FGs and a Botched punt leaves UCLA stuck defending their own red zone.
Senior Free Safety Alex Mascarenas has had enough, Records 1 interception, 1 4th down sack, a SAFETY, and a fumble recovery. to cap off his 12 tkl game; after the safety UCLA is up 19-14
after the safety punt while trying to get the crucial first down UCLA seals it with a 41 yard scamper to the Endzone 26-14. TCU scored on a hail mary afterwards but could not get the onside kick.
After 3 straight down to the wire games Coach Jorgensen is ready for the off season and hopes his job offers are bright.
also id shoot for me being back Saturday night if we want to do the offseason then

MTSU Wins! Finishes the year 8-5
MTSU wins the Beef O Brady Bowl, by defeating the Houston Cougars. It looked like at first that the Cougars would run away with the game as they jumped out to a 13-0 lead. But the Blue Raiders D finally woke up and wouldnt allow another point for the rest of the game. Meanwhile their offense would put up 35 points. Morris went 13-26 for 217 and 1 TD, while Pratcher finished his senior year with 164 yards on 26 carries with 1 TD. The surprise star was FB McGill who had 44 yards on 9 carries and 2 TD's. Coach Willard said he was happy to get their 8th win of the season and that they were able to send the seniors off with a win.
Now the Blue Raiders will focus on recruiting and the offseason, and get ready to compete next season for the Sun Belt Conference Championship
MTSU ready to advance.
I'll most likely be out of town from thursday night to sunday afternoon, so if I am going to be gone i'll set my stuff to auto pilot before I leave.

Hmm Roady gets Iowa in the Texas Bowl, I'm sure that will be a neutral field.
Well if the crowd wasn't nuetral, the defense sure was. Baylor limped into the Texas bowl after losing two straight to Iowa State and Kansas, but had high hopes as their top two defnsive linemen would be off the injury report and ready for action.
Baylor lead 28-14 at the half, but the Hawkeyes were just getting warmed up. Marcus Coker exploited the Baylor D time and time again. He ran for 201 yards and three TDs and was unstoppable. Iowa hung 14 in the second, 14 in the third, and 14 in the fourth, with their last score being a 69 yard, go-ahead TD run from Coker on their first play from scrimmage.
The Bears were again their own worst enemy. QB Nick Florence had 2 INTs, and the woe-Line had 5 holding calls, including two critical calls that erased first down runs. Florence was victimized by a few defenders doing the ole ghost-pass through to pick or swat passes. That's just another treat to see on replay, your receiver in position to catch and the defender just morphs through his body to reappear infront and break up the pass. No catch, no interference, just misery.
That was the story of our season, though. The defense gets gouged and hemmorages points in the second half, and the offense can't keep up with what the D is giving up. Hopefully the big beef we brought in can help us next year.
Iowa scored the winning TD with a minute left and holds on to win 42-35, right in our own friggin backyard.

Well there is your problem. Stop suiting up the mascot. Leave the dogs on the sideline.

Since no one will be missing this weekend, do you want to open up recruiting now so we will have less to plow through Saturday night? I can advance during the day when guys post they are ready. When you reach the point you're done, just post and we won't wait on you.
