UCLA wins as time expires!!! 16-13 over hated rival USC.

The defense was tough all game keeping USC one FG, as the offense failed to score without throwing defensive TDs for USC. It looked like all was lost as UCLA though they gave their offense one more chance and during the punt with 1:40 left the UCLA punt team though it was a good idea to rough the kicker. letting USC milk the clock to 24 seconds and extending the lead to 13-9. The UCLA offense took the challenge driving 80 yards with no timeouts. after a strike to the USC 15 yard line UCLA chooses not to spike the ball and to hike it with barely a second left, to score a miracle touchdown in the back of the endzone!.

hopefully now UCLA will jump some 2-3 loss teams in the polls. really they only lost to the #2 team in the nation C'Mon MAN!

In Ames, IA, the Baylor Bears fend off the pesky ISU Cyclones. They wouldn't go away all game, but refused to stop my HB Jacob Bennett. Their mistake. Bennett controlled the game, and set up huge passing situations because the 'clones would over committ at the wrong time. tsk tsk

Nick Florence was less than stellar, but posted big numbers thanks to a few long passes. His accuracy fall off was due to multiple balls being dropped or bouncing off the heads of receivers. We don't often stickum the helmets, but maybe we should. Finally, the D held tough and locked down ISU when we needed big stops. Baylor posted 5 sacks, which is a lot for them, but didn't get an INT or fumble.

Baylor earns its 6th win and becomes bowl eligible for the first time. Next week Baylor will end their regular season vs. the Kansas Jayhawks.

In recruiting news, Baylor lands their second 4 star player. WR Steven West has joined the Bears after receiving a very special campus tour from Marlene and Candi, Baylor's spirit tour fluffers.

MTSU continues their win streak!

The Blue Raiders were able to continue their impressive win streak today on a snow covered field in Murfreesboro. The Blue Raiders kept up their impressive offensive attack today as well. This started on the first play from scrimmage. Pratcher took the games first handoff for a 69 yard TD. Then the Blue Raiders couldnt get anything else going till the 2nd Qtr. They scored 21 points in the 2nd Qtr to ULL's 7. Giving MTSU a 28-7 lead at half time. ULL added another 7 points but the Blue Raiders also added their own 20 point in the second half to get the 48-14 win.

ULL tried to sell out to stop the running game, but they were unable to. Pratcher finished with 211 yards on just 25 carries, and 3 TD's. He has now become the nations 2nd leading rusher, behind Tennessee's HB. MTSU also got a surprise from their passing game as Morris went 12-19 for 3 TD's. MTSU just had to much firepower for ULL, and they walked away with their 5 win in a row and moved to 7-4 on the year. Next up the Blue Raiders finish the season at home with FIU coming to town. What a great way to end the year with possibly finishing on a 6 game win streak.

In recruiting new, MTSU locked up a 3* QB this week, and had several recruits on hand for this weeks game. MTSU looks to finish strong on the recruiting trail.

MTSU ready to advance

Mighty Troy comes to town and we send them home with a Loss.

We controlled the clock and got the rushing game going.

Quartterrio Morgan lead the way with 156 yards on 29 carries, 1TD and long of 35 yards.

The time of possession was key, we kept running the ball and kept the Troy AirRaid offense off the field for the upset W.

I finished my recruiting and set my team READY TO ADVANCE, the green dot shows up but for some reason it still shows me not ready to advance, not sure why it does that.

WKU is READY TO ADVANCE.

:Tennessee: finishes the regular season 12-0 after defeating rival :Kentucky:. The Vols offense was a bit sluggish but the defensive brought the hammer finishing the game with 10 sacks and forcing multiple turnovers.

It looks like the #2 Vols will face #1 Alabama for the SEC title in a show down for the ages.
