As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

Improved Recruiting Experience

A key piece of establishing a top-notch program in Dynasty Mode is Recruiting. While the mode received significant changes in NCAA Football 11, there has been a growing sense that the mode needs yet another upgrade for various reasons.

Among the possible changes:

Improved CPU recruiting logic. While improved, CPU squads still do not always recruit to their strengths/play style and struggle to flesh out a complete and balanced roster.
Experience: Users want a quicker, more enjoyable time recruiting. Text popping up versus cycling, faster menu response, etc.
Scouting Players: A methodology to develop individuality to recruits and a strategy necessary to gauge each player.
Revamped Pipeline System: Possibilities include pipeline to certain cities or regions versus entire states, pipelines based upon coach history, success with players from cities, etc.
Competing vs. Other Schools: Despite the Top 10 for each recruit, there is no sense of competition against other schools for recruits.
Coaching Carousel: Possible tie-in with this mode, including Coach Recruiting Rating, etc.

Global Player & Recruit Editor

Some in the community put a lot of work into editing specific player rating attributes (on an time-extensive individual player basis) to help tweak the game to their liking. This feature would allow users to apply global edits to all players or those at a certain position. For example, to help reduce the “super linebacker” effect, a player may reduce their jumping ability by 15 points. Instead of applying this manually to over 1,000 linebackers in the game, users could apply this global edit. Others in the community have asked for a way to shape the make-up of recruiting classes, including quality and play-style of players.

Improved Recruiting is a must. Recruiting is the main thing I do in a dynasty. Usually when I am with a new team, I usually sim the 1st(sometimes 2nd) while I rebuild the team. I just want a newer interface. I think they should bring back Emails.

Both of these need to be added but improving recruiting is an absolute must. The current system is insanely tedious to me. Making the same pitches to the same recruits to stay ahead of the same schools 20-30 times every game week is something I do not look forward to.

On the other hand global editing just seems like such a simple feature to implement we shouldn't even have to ask for it; it was in Madden 2002 PC and that was almost ten years ago.

I have really grown to dislike recruiting as it is. A change would be okay... but to be honest I can't see voting for this in future rounds.

improved recruiting

i would eventually like to see the kind of offense/defense a recruit plays in. this could easily be tied into how well the player progresses within the system. a perfect example of this is shown in hawaii quarterbacks, bryant moniz and kevin spain. moniz played in a run and shoot offense in high school, and rose up the depth chart to 3rd string mid way through his sophomore year, eventually stepping in as the starter. spain, on the other hand, played in a wing-t offense, and is still buried on the depth chart after 2 years of being in the system, and is not projected to contend for a starting job next year, when moniz is gone.

i will disagree with the experience part listed in the description. i do not want recruiting to become a streamlined/simplified process just to speed it up. recruiting should never reach the point where i could spend 2 minutes of real life time on it every week and be able to land a #1 ranked class. imo, the effort you put into recruiting should reflect how successful you are in it and its the people who do their homework that should be the ones being rewarded. the current process isnt perfect by any means, though.

I agree. I like to see the 5'9 180-190 Speed backs to be more in favor of Spread Teams and 6'0 200+ backs for other offenses. QBs with High THA, but low THP in favor for Spread offense.
If I spend just around 2 minutes in recruiting, than I expect to have bad classes. I would like to recruit for the future. I love that feature in CHOOPs. When I dont have many needs, I usually scout for the future.
