The stats are looking pretty good guys.
If you have issues or complaints or suggestions please let us know here so we can see about addressing them.
Let's keep rolling.
I'll be getting my ass handed to me and rightfully so the next couple games with Alabama and USC :)

No worse than my shellacking by Boise last night. Finally ended up simming the last couple quarters. Nothing going.

Yeah when a team is much better than you in Heisman it shows, for sure. We'll continue to tweak the sliders just slightly.
After this weeks games will be a good time to since everyone will have 3 games under their belt.
So everyone please leave suggestions, good and bad, after your game this week.

WOW, an amazing game against Alabama that I lost in overtime.
Just a great game that had it's ups and downs, great plays, things I've never seen before and just had me on the edge of my seat all game long.
I had the lead at half but then my offense went into a shell and I probably got a little to conservative. So Bama got a good lead going into the 4th but then I came back with some good drives to go back ahead. Bama puts together a good drive with just under a minute to play and scores a TD to go up by 3. I get a pretty good return, don't get much on the first two downs but then on 3rd and long Bama blitzes and my QB hits a streaking WR down the seam. A few plays later I'm in short FG range and I tie the game up with no time on the clock.
In OT I win the coin toss and elect to go on D but can't stop Bama and their 98ovr QB. They go in for the TD lead. I can't get much going on my possession and then I get desperate and throw a deep pass over the middle but my QB lead the WR to far towards the opposite hash and that safety on that side was able to come over just in time for the pick.
Game felt and played awesome with animations and plays I'd rarely if ever seen before on both sides. If anything I probably should not have been in this game but really they were only 1 letter grade better than me overall so it's good to be able to be in that game and I had a good plan to load up and stop the run and make them beat me passing and in the end they probably did but I kept it close and I really had a shot. On offense I stuck with the run even when it got me little to nothing early, but later it opened up and the short passing game worked to mix it up as well.
That was just so much damn fun, it ended up being my #3 greatest game.
Can't remember the last time I had so much fun in a win, let alone a loss.

Got a win at a cost. Lost my high 80s HB for 9 weeks... An interesting observation, I'm curious why my 69 Ovr qb played better than my 88ovr guy? Shouldnt be close, but I did t get my offense going until my starter got a concussion. B very odd...

On your QB there Gnarly, not sure if this is the case but I do notice that your backup is much more mobile. Maybe he is able to move around and buy time? Or are you calling different plays with the two different guys?
Maybe the backup just has that hidden it factor? Who knows. Sometimes in both Madden and NCAA guys don't play up to their ratings and others play well above theirs.

He's more mobile, yeah, but I'm not calling anything different. My 80+ qb just makes stupid throws while the freshman seems to protect the ball more. The freshman throws the ball away while the senior just chucks it up. Seems odd. Gonna feel silly benching my 80+ guy for a 69 Ovr guy the rest of the season... Lol

Like I said, some guys just play above their ratings and some play below. Gotta play the guy that is playing best and not be afraid to play a lower rated guy. OVR is not the be all end all factor.

Posted a video to show some of the issues I had for the game and my OL. I am wondering if in setting the subs that there is an impact related to "warming up"? I think I may experiment.
Lost my starting QB with a concussion and my backup...well.. sacked 6 times and threw 3 picks.
Just another day.

Beat Ark.State. Cant remember the specifics but it was a good realitsic game. Regarding the QB situation that Gnarly is having...I honestly think that you have to "warm-up" the QB by throwing some quick high % passes before throwing the long passes. It seems to have alot to do with confidence. Just my observations.

Looks to me like your QB had a good 5-6 seconds there before he had any pressure at all and he seemed to have guys open. I'd say that's an issue of the QB holding onto the ball to long rather than your OL letting you down. With bad QB and/or OL you have to call a lot of quick short stuff so the QB gets the ball out of his hand or else leave 1 or 2 HB/TEs in to help block. Have to make adjustments to help your players be as successful as possible. That Navy team is not very good talent wise so you have to do things to help them out.
