As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

In-Game Saves

Many in the NCAA Football community like to use longer quarter length to help replicate realistic game statistics, however that often makes playing time a commodity in order to play in one sitting. In-game saves would allow them to resume the match-up at a later date. Technically this may not be easy to implement due to the size of the save file that would be created, housing game info, highlights, stats, etc.

Simplified Create-a-Play (Existing Play Modifier, Savable)

Creating a play from scratch has been a highly requested feature in football titles, but there has always been the concern that these plays could exploit the CPU AI. However, some in the community have asked for a Play Editor that would allow them to only modify existing plays that would then be saved and kept in playbooks. For example, if a player routinely executes one particular hot route to a certain play, he could modify and save that play with the route and never have to make the in-game adjustment again.

I have no damn clue how Create a Play beat Continue Dynasty. I don't know how it managed to beat RTG improvements. But if Create a Play beats In Game Saves, I'm calling bullshit on this tournament. Someone gonna be getting accused of ballot stuffing.

I need some type of Create a Play. It's LONG overdue and I hate running plays where I love the play but I one route was a post or a corner it would be that much better.

In-Game Saves

I was real lukewarm on either of the Create-a-Play entries for the Wish List Tournament anyway, and facing increasing instances where I have to stop in the middle of playing a game for one reason or another has led me to embrace In-Game Saves and the potential convenience afforded by such a feature. I do think we'll see some form of Create-a-Play--whether in-depth or simplistic--before too long to supplement Custom Playbooks in the game; but personally, I'd rather that feature not be rushed and have all the potential issues worked out before it makes its debut in some iteration of NCAA Football down the line.

Another bad matchup. People who want in-game saves... Are avid offline players...

Simple Create-A-Play allows players to recreate their favorite teams style of offense. This is also completely beneficial to the defense as well; it allows players to create their own stunts and defensive alignments... How did this possibly get overlooked by being able to save a game? Fucking lower the amount of time you want to play... Don't be ridiculous...

People who want in-game saves... Are avid offline players...I believe this is a bad assumption on your part. They're likely avid dynasty players, yes, but not limited to offline. I agree with you in voting for Create-A-Play, but I can also understand the appeal of In Game Saves. There are plenty of situations where players, particularly those with families, can get in half-a-game, but not the full game. Or there's an interruption mid game. Reducing the length of the game doesn't solve all of these situations, and could be difficult to get the group to agree upon.

Plus, personally, I feel that if In-Game Saves were implemented, then the technology could be leveraged to allow us to resume Online games if there was a disconnect. I'd much prefer that over playing the game over again.
