AMAZING start to the year for North Texas. The defense may be rated D+, but the offense played like it was rated A+ today in an upset of Big Ten foe Minnesota 52-31. The player of the game was sophomore WR Brelan Chancellor who had 7 catches for 232 yards with 3 TD's including a 91-yarder. QB Riley Dodge was near perfect going 16-24 for 369 yards, 5 TD and 0 INT. When it was time to control the clock, sophomore back Shelton Gandy definitely did so with 163 yds on 27 carries and 2 TD's including a 27-yarder as North Texas was trying to close out the final seconds.
