As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

In-Game Saves

Many in the NCAA Football community like to use longer quarter length to help replicate realistic game statistics, however that often makes playing time a commodity in order to play in one sitting. In-game saves would allow them to resume the match-up at a later date. Technically this may not be easy to implement due to the size of the save file that would be created, housing game info, highlights, stats, etc.

Race for the Heisman (Award Ceremonies)

Perhaps the most prestigious individual award in all of sports, the season-long pursuit towards the Heisman Trophy lacks the payoff and rewarding moment of being named the winner in NCAA Football. A feature found in GEN2 NCAA Football, this would include a special presentation ceremony for the Heisman finalists and winner. (The same technology could be expanded for all award ceremonies and winners, spotlighting the most prestigious award won or a finalist for.) To build upon the feature, in-game commentary could reference Heisman/award contenders, helping to increase the pressure of maintaining a high level of play. Conversely, playing against Heisman/award contenders and hearing praise centering around them could increase pressure to not allow a memorable performance. This feature could be utilized in both Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory. The mode could also develop a tie-in with the Downtown Athletic Club and/or the Home Depot ESPN College Football Awards Show.

Even though I know In-Game Saves will probably win, I am choosing Race for Heisman. In-Game Saves would be good, but I will probably not use it. I usually play at times where I dont get bothered or when no one is around. Once I start a game, I finish it. Alot of these things like Race for Heisman, might be small and probably skipped over, but it adds depth in modes. I am starting to get tired of NCAA 12, besides recruiting, there is nothing else to really keep my interest.

Even though I don't use them, gotta go with In-Game Saves. It's a freakin' travesty that this series doesn't have them yet.

This one is a killer for me as I desperately want both. However looking at the kids... in game saves.

No excuses. EA needs to add in game saves. Huge for me.

In-Game Saves

While I'm bummed that In-Game Saves beat out one of my personal "causes" in DLC Team Updates, I'm fine voting for it here; with some caveats.

If In-Game Saves are introduced, there will need to be measures in place to assure that the feature is not abused. If a person saves their progress say, before a 4th Down attempt, thinking that if they come back and fail to convert they'll just start over on the attempt? That would be a major source of grief for people in Online Dynasties if players started doing that for any "difficult" vs.-CPU games they might have on their schedule. In an offline Dynasty, people could abuse In-Game Saves to their heart's delight and they're the only one affected; OD's would need some form of built-in policing, however.

And I know that the number of people abusing In-Game Saves would be very small, but considerations like this need to be thought of before implementation.

As for Race for the Heisman (Award Ceremonies), I agree that it is a small part of a larger presentation overhaul which needs to be undertaken with regards to Dynasty/Online Dynasty/even Road to Glory in NCAA Football at present. I just don't give it a high level of importance versus a functional feature which would make Rudy so happy he won't know what to do with himself :P.

In Game Saves should win this in a landslide

Really like both of these options but went with trophy presentations. I can always just pause the game if/when I have to do something.

I went with in-game saves... never really a big fan of the cut scenes for the heisman award, etc. I don't know that I'd use in-game saves all that often, unless of course it incorporated into OD games versus users and you could resume if one disconnects.

In-game saves all the way. I like seeing how my players did in the awards voting, but not really interested in awards cutscenes.

This would be about the only time I would see this feature as something I would use. For online games I'd still rather it have save points like after each quarter just in case of disconnects but this would work here if they can do that too.

Your example of abusing in game saves is the same as someone just re-starting their game. I'm assuming ODs have protections built in against that because that doesn't really have anything to do with in game saves. And YES! Please vote in game saves to make me happy! :)
