Senor Roady,
I can play after 8pm central weeknights (tonight Monday) I have an "old guys OD" game scheduled at 8pm with Cooter. We can shoot for Monday afternoon when my kids take their nap (our usual game time) or another time that is good for you.

Please let me know what works for you sir.

Thanks,
Gus

Gus -

The usual is good. I'll see you online then.

Thank you and best of luck as you enter our fine, fine county. We'll save a cool glass of lemonade for you.

WKU travels to wacko and gets hammered :deadhorse:

Repeat after me, "fumble...TD"..."interception...TD"...kickoff...fumble...TD"...."Interception...TD"....

Then the 2nd quarter started and Roady removed his passing plays from his playbook. Thank you sir. :))

The good news for the bears is they racked up some nice rushing yards for the season. Roady pounded me on this one, hopefully I can get some team speed recruited and baylor will have us back again sometime for a rematch. If we don't get any team speed, atleast baylor will continue to have an FCS team (wku)on their schedule :fp:

UCLA upsets Stanford 28-23.

Stanford seemed to miss Andrew Luck and their new QB was pressured often and gave up the game winning sack fumble that was returned 90 yards for a UCLA TD.

The Baylor Bears certainly had their way with WKU. It was over pretty quickly, even though the Hilltoppers kept the pressure on the entire game. Unfotuntately, that pressure backfired a few times and gave Baylor terrific opportunities all game long.

Senior QB Nick Florence went 6-6 for 79 yards on the opening drive and found Jon Whitmore in the end zone for a 7-0 lead. After an interceptiondeep in Baylor territory, Baylor RB Jacob Bennett raced 72 yards to make it a 14-0 lead. The next kickoff was fumbled, recovered by Baylor, and lead to another Bennett TD. The wheels came off then, and it was just about over. Beau Blackshear recovered another fumble and took it 60 yards for a TD. Both INTs and both fumbles lead to Baylor TDs.

It was ugly, and not fun, but we're happy with such a win. We get another bye next week and then host new conference foe, TCU in week 9.

We had 9 recruits on hand for this game. I don't know if the recruits were able to see any of the action on the field, but we know they had a lot of fun in the alumni's hospitality suite.
