As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

Dynamic/Progressive Weather & Effect on Play

Taking The Weather Channel Feed feature to a new level, this addition would see weather change in-game, similar to progressive lighting in NCAA Football 11. The feature could exist by either checking the TWC feed between each quarter and then changing in game or the Weather tab would have options such as ‘Rain to Snow’, ‘Clear to Cloudy’, ‘Snow at Start (ending later)’, etc. This could also see more noticeable field degradation (especially in extreme weather conditions) and weather have more of an effect on play. For example: high temperatures could lead to quicker player fatigue, heavy rains could lead to increased field degradation and slipping as play progresses, heavy snow could accumulate in stadium corners, etc. Schools/stadiums in high elevation (Colorado, Wyoming, etc.) could see slightly increased effects in fatigue, particularly for road teams and/or less athletic teams/players on both squads.

More Player Editing Options

With nearly 8,000 in-game players, more unique editable details can help make each player stand-out and have their own visual identity.

Among the options:
More varying hair length - Shorter dreads, long hair, curly hair, along with various colors. Along with this could be easier player model application. Instead of needing a certain ‘player face,’ hair could be its own option for each player, just like equipment.
Secondary Team Color Equipment - Several teams (Florida, for example) have an incorrect color for any equipment item using ‘Team Color.’ With ‘Secondary Color’ this would have apparel option using the other primary team color.
Pink Equipment - As part of Breast Cancer Awareness, more players in 2011 have started to wear pink equipment ranging from towels to wristbands.
Eyeblack
Global Team Equipment Editor - This feature would allow users to set uniform and equipment options for all players as well as incoming recruits. For example, this could allow users to set new Home and Away uniform combinations (among in-game uniform components) and default helmet, sock, shoe options.

why even bring up pink equipment ? its a waste of time...we need to tell them to put in eye black ? its a football game, thats mandatory. we shouldnt need to vote on such simple stuff..primary,secondary color equipment should be a simple given, just put it in..hair length should be real simple at this point too...shoe options nned to be spread to created teams and is a year and two behind..and equipment options need to be spread to teambuilder as well..

Dynamic/Progressive Weather & Effect on Play

This isn't just a vote of consistency (since I voted for this option and against More Player Editing Options in the first round); for me, the fact that we're talking about something which would potentially affect gameplay versus something which would be purely aesthetic makes it an easier decision if we're looking at this tournament as things that are essential to the betterment of the NCAA Football franchise.

This is not to say that I don't believe that More Player Editing Options are important; obviously, since NCAA Football isn't really allowed to make use of player likenesses, the opportunity for the game to look more authentic is very dependent on the level of editing freedom granted by the game. But having the option for this piece of equipment or that piece of gear doesn't have the far-reaching impact which could accompany the implementation of Dynamic/Progressive Weather & Effect on Play.

Obviously there are concerns to be had considering this feature; done incorrectly, weather that affects play "too significantly" could in some ways "break" the game for people. But if this is a "wishlist" tournament where the difficulty of implementing a feature is not allowed to overwhelm decision-making in each case, then the potential of including the feature makes it a clear choice for me personally.

honestly, i dont care what color mouthpiece the guy has in. i dont care about what color his shoe laces are. i dont care what kind of facial hair he has. i dont care about how many arm bands he has. i think it was mors who said it sometime last year (i really dont know though)....."i play the game for what it is....which is a football game. if i wanted to play dress up, i'd go play the barbie doll game." player details/options mean absolutely nothing to me.

so with that, i voted for dynamic weather. rainy games should lead to slightly more fumbles and more drops by receivers. cold weather games should make everyone slightly slower. hot weather should lead to more players cramping up= higher fatigue. downpours should make players slip a little more. foggy games, depending on how heavy it is, could make qb's slightly more inaccurate since they cant judge depth as well?

I would want the option to have all players sleeves down..i hate that bunched up shoulder look, it takes away from your uniform design

There is so much missing from NCAA, this wish list tournament is hard to decide on. I picked better player editing options, one set of dreads sucks...the body toning and stuff needs to be really updated. White guys need long hair as well....

I really think dynamic weather affecting the game and field degradation is needed too tho.

More player editing, they need way more faces, body types, etc. Weather is cool and all but unless it done right I won't use it. Take for instance fog from NCAA 12. Looks cool in pictures, but during actual game play in coach mode combined with their HDR lighting makes most of the fields look down right cartoony looking.

I havent seen a fog game since I was in Dynasty(7 seasons).
I agree. I would love Dynamic Weather, but it has to be done right and not too effective in gameplay. I think should add all new faces and newer player models. Younger looking faces, not guys that look like players in NFL or 30 years old, especially for RTG High Schools. Better player model editor. I want my 5'9 220 RB or 6'1 220 RB to look different. I want the 5'9 guy to be built more stockier and the 6'1 guy to be more define. A Definition slider. Like a Adrain Peterson/Ray Edwards defined model vs a lean QB/K model, not every player are defined(Brett Farve and McNabb, but have big arms). For some it doesnt matter, but for me it is time for new faces.

weather could impact gameplay so it gets my vote.

weather should just be decent eye candy and not effect gameplay..they dont have enough logic for it to be random and make sense..it would be some stupid crap where, no matter what,..your guy would fumble in a certain situation every time because rating still dont matter enough in a EA game..they script to many things still

I went with dynamic weather on this one. I've never been much of a roster edit guy but I can and would like to see more options on this front for those that enjoy it. But like it was mentioned earlier by Paakaa I believe the weather could really change gameplay.

In addition to this "random weather" it would be great to see teams play to the weather... aka super snowy game.... RUN THE BALL. Weather in real football is hugeand it should be in a video game as well.

It would be great to have the weather actually stop or start DURING the game. I know there are plenty of times in real life that it STOPS raining at some point in the game!! Or start out a game while its overcast and after halftime, the players come back out into a monsoon!
