This year, the third annual NCAA Football Community Wish List Tournament sees several changes made at the request of the community to help further highlight the top community requests for each major game area. The tournament will be held in four different areas of focus: Gameplay, Online Dynasty, Presentation & In-game Atmosphere, and Features/Other.

While there is no guarantee the winning items will appear in NCAA Football 13, the development team has stated in the past that they follow the tournament and strong showing by particular items have helped get them into the franchise.

While the numbers behind the vote may be most visible on the surface, the most important aspect is your (the community) opinions on each aspect – and not just the item you are voting for. With each item, state which aspects you would like to see in the game and how you would like to see it implemented. For example, perhaps you really want to see a Special Teams Overhaul but not necessarily a new Kick Meter. Share your thoughts on individual aspects as well as the features up for voting. The tournament field will be unveiled and conducted one bracket at a time. Each field is populated with the most oft-requested features in wish lists and threads from around the community, from sites such as The Gaming Tailgate, Operation Sports, pastapadre, My Madden Pad, Madden Matrix, Thru the Uprights, Tradition Sports and the EA Forums to name a few.

While NCAA Football 12 has had its share of issues post-release, we enter the tournament with the expectation that these items will be fixed in post-release support of NCAA Football 12 and/or as part of NCAA Football 13. Any off-topic posts will be moved or deleted. The goal of the Wish List Tournament is to allow the community an outlet to share their thoughts on their most requested NCAA Football features. Vote and let your opinion be heard!

yeah awesome!! does this tournament actually have any bearing on the features that go into this coming years game, or is their feature set already fleshed out??

yeah awesome!! does this tournament actually have any bearing on the features that go into this coming years game, or is their feature set already fleshed out??More than likely it has less of an impact on the full features list but rather has a big impact on where they take the direction of the features they've chose.

If they see that one of their planned features loses badly and is dogged, then they might pull back the reigns on it. On the flip side, if they see a really big push for one of their planned features, then they might commit even more to it. Additionally, the commentary & discussion in the tournament threads helps tremendously because it helps them know what details they should focus on in a particular request.

Are we going to do these one by one, or is there going to be a point where multiple "brackets" are going at once? If it's the latter, subforums might be necessary just to limit the possibility of a "new" poll being missed.

We'll do one bracket at a time and move completed brackets to a new sub-forum.

how about stuff involving teambuilder as well? you should be able to have a teams roster in game when you download it from the site and modify equipment and stuff as you like and see that in your unranked online teambuilder games..of course i also mean colored equipment because you cant do that now...it only gives the equipment in color preset from the roster you chose

Not to be negative about this whole thing or anything, but do you have a category for just fixing the shit they already have that is still fucked up? Cause I'm pretty sure that would win the whole tournament, hands down.

From the article and initial post:

While NCAA Football 12 has had its share of issues post-release, we enter the tournament with the expectation that these items will be fixed in post-release support of NCAA Football 12 and/or as part of NCAA Football 13.

We do have some items that mention issues from 12, however. That was unavoidable.

The Dynasty Bracket will begin this evening.

It is a 14-item field, so two items will be receiving BYES: Improved OL/DL Interaction and Better CPU Playcalling, Logic & Execution

We wanted to give everyone a head's up so no one thought either item was excluded.
