WKU ready to advance.
Tenn we play next week (week 5). I can play after 8pm central weeknights. Please let me know what works for you sir.
? on my schedule, not sure if you'll remember...when you made my schedule did you have to remove Temple so I could play some user games? I didn't know it at the time but Temple is one of my rivals and now I've made the mistake of telling recruits I'll beat my rivals. Looks like Temple and MTST are my rivals. MTST is on my schedule b/c they are a conference game.

I don't think you'll be penalized if they aren't on your schedule. If you beat MTST, you'll be 1 for 1 with a winning record.

Ok, I'm feeling guilty. Earlier I played my game vs. OU and I lost 44-35 in a shootout. I got behind early, my running back got hurt which forced me to chuck and duck, and almost made it a game. I left the game, jumped back online, and went to the EA locker to grab the stats. There was nothing. No stats, no record, no game. So I went back online and there was no result either. I replayed the game figuring I'd get the very same result as I always do, but EA threw me a bone. My defense made a critical stop and I won the game 44-41 on a last second game ending field goal.
So I'll leave it up to the mighty commish to let the game stand or not, and just SIM the result. But if it stands, here's what happened.
The #3 Oklahoma Sooners came to Waco fresh off their 29-14 victory over Tulsa. Baylor limped home after losing to NC State and Texas. This didn't look good for the green and gold. But Baylor scored first on a 12 yard pass to Steve Rodriguez. And the volley began. OU scored a TD, then Baylor scored another one, OU added a field goal, and Baylor put it in the end zone again. But they missed the kick! Was this their first blink? Baylor lead at the break 27-24.
In the third, Oklahoma opened with a TD, and the Baylor scored a TD. They forced an INT and turned that into another passing TD from Nick Florence. Slick Nick finished with 5 passing, 1 rushing TDs. OU got another field goal, and then Baylor threw a greedy pic with two minutes left. The Sooners ran it down the field and scored. The game is now tied and that missed XP is haunting me. But there was a minute left on the clock and the big game QB finally earned his pay. He connected on a few nice passes and got a great shake move from Tevin Reese that got us into the red zone. A holding call pushed us back, but two solid runs got the ball to the 9 yard line with the clock running under :05. A time out was called and X was hit. The kick was good and Baylor knocks off the #3 team in the country!
This game, coupled with CLW's win over the Gators, should pave the way for the Volunteers to get into the top 10.

Love, love, love that song!
And yeah...the sun might not shine on this dog's ass again. I'm just saying the SIM gods might frown on the green and gold. I don't have good luck in recent game threes. ATM kicked my ass and I'd rather not have a repeat. Again, the killer is my D. I can't stop a good rushing attack. All three games have seen sick rushing numbers put on me. I need to fatten these guys up a bit to clog some lanes.

MTSU moves to 2-0.
Coach Willard's boys played well this past week. Winning their game against LA Tech, 49-21. The game was back and forth for the first 14 points, with each team scoring on their first 2 possessions. Once MTSU scored on their 3rd straight possession it looked that this game was headed for shootout status. But the Blue Raiders defense finally came alive and didnt allow another point till the 4th quarter. Mean while the Blue Raiders looked all but unstoppable. They continued to score on every possession. Not having to punt at all in the first half, and not till late in the 3rd quarter. By then the game was all but over.
The players of the game were MTSU's QB who went 15-20 for 203 yards and 2 TD's. William Pratcher also added 128 yards on the ground on 21 carries, jump started by a huge run of 78 yards. He ended the day with 3 TD's. If there was one weak part the the offense it was the offensive line. They ended up giving up 7 sacks on the day.
Coach Willard said after the game that it was nice to have the balance today in the game. Even though we are a pass first team, (they run Coach Willards version of the RNS) he said it's nice to be able to hand the ball off when its beneficial to the situation.
Next week the Blue Raiders have a real test with #25 USF coming to town. The Blue Raiders are hopeing to continue their offensive barrage and come out with their third win of the season.
