In a chilly game at Virginia, the Cavs dismantled the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest. Heisman Hopeful HB Perry Jones rushed for 250 and 4 scores while catching another pass for 30+. This was a laugher, as the WF defense couldn't stop Virginia at all, while their offense couldn't move the ball themselves. Book-end OLBs Walcott and Reynolds again showed why they're two of the best defensive players in the country by corralling runners and receivers alike. Next up, the deciding game for our side of the ACC against Va Tech!

Guys,

I have had it with this game. I am done.

Three times in the first quarter, the FIU team went for it on 4th down. If I had done that, I would have gotten flagged for unsportsmanship in EA's Statistical world. The AI stayed in hurryup for 95% of the game, it made runs and catches that were just unreal, and yet, my offense struggled, struggled, struggled.

I will finish out the season, but I am sorry, I can't sit each week, whether I win or lose, and have my heart ripped out over a super-amped AI that is geared towards joystick play, and not true coach mode.

I was so angry that I basically simmed the game for the rest of the 4th quarter.

Hold on natcret, things are frustrating now because we don't have full control and you can't hardly build sliders worth a damn for being an OC/DC which is why at the end of this season we're all getting back to HC jobs and no more OC/DC allowed.
I know it's frustrating, I'm not enjoying it much either but when we get back to being HCs it'll be all good.
BTW, are you not having these same issues in your other CM league?

I have had similar issues. In the other league, I have a stronger team and am playing full CM, however, I may get a series where I am running the ball great, then after the next possession change, I can't do a thing for two to three quarters.

In both leagues I have seen my players just stand there and wave bye-bye as the opponent is rushing past them. Yet, I can't seem to get the same courtesy. Even when I audible, and this is the biggest issue for me, it's like the AI knows every stinkin' move I am going to make. That is the most frustrating part.

I have no issue regarding losing, I just want to lose with a fighting chance, and not stupid AI parlor tricks.

Understand, you gotta do what you gotta do and this is a game so if you aren't having fun I'm sure not one would fault you for giving it up.

And BTW, I have been messing with sliders to try to find something to make thing better for this season but clearly that isn't going well. I really think once we're all back to HCs I can hone in on the best sliders we can get.

Coach, it is getting really hard for me to stay. I cannot take the AI cheating anymore. I am in the middle of a game right now in another league. My defense held the team in the first quarter. However, in the second quarter, there was no play I could call to stop them from scoring. Additionally, It makes no difference if I audible, don't audible, the defense knows exactly what I am going to run every time. I can't stand it.

Just frustrating.
