Week 15 Now Open

Deadline = October 7, 2011 7:00 a.m. CST

*Roady I am flying out of town for the weekend on Friday. Could you please advance this badboy on Friday morning?

Also, everyone let me know what your availability is from October 12th - October 16th. We will knock out the off-season in one sitting at some point during that time.

Thanks!

The good times for the backup had to end. The Kansas Jayhawks smack around Bryce Perry in the season finale and with a furious pass rush. It's a good thing CLW didn't take over this crew! Perry went 1 for 6 and missed badly in the first quarter. He missed a screen pass, had a drop, and over threw three wide open guys. Kansas also forced a fumble on his option pitch that was picked up and returned for a TD. This was a terrible way to start the finale.

So off comes the headset and on comes the cape. RG3 returns from exile again to move the ball. He stopped the momentum early with a couple of first downs, but another key drop forced a punt. Kansas had a 14-0 lead with minutes to go in the first half when RG3 found Terrance Williams in the end zone for a 20 yard score.

After the break, Baylor controlled the clock and the game. Griffin found his groove in the pocket. He hit Lanear Sampson on an 86 yard strike that featured some nifty running, and went back and forth with RB Jared Salubi who churned up another nice day of work with 146 yards and a TD.

This was a tough one that went down to the wire. Kansas put pressure on us all day and really made the O work for every yard. Kansas got a late TD pass to cut the score to 31-28 with 2 minutes left, but Salubi bulled his way to three straight first downs on the ground to ice the game. Baylor wins their third straight game over a higher ranked team and has a respectable finish to a disappointing season.

We're ready to advance!

Ok -

I think the only other GBN game left that's not on Auto Pilot is North Texas. Wyoming and Utah State are on AP. I can advance if everyone else checks in here and says they are ready, or I'll just wait til Friday morning.

As for my availability during the 12th thru 16th I'd say I'm free any evening, after 9:30 PM. I'm not available during the day on Saturday, but may be available on Sunday.

USM ready to advance, did my recruiting on the internet. Pretty cool, I've always done it on the PS3, it goes much faster on the PC.

I tried doing a lot ofrecruiting online last year, with bad luck. While its much faster and easier that way, I had a lot of dropped connections with the EA servers. They'd just boot me out at random times, and if I had time left in a call I lost it. It was frustrating. I just stayed away. I check it out often, and use the tool for editing my recruit board, but won't make a call.

I've noticed I can't get I.E. to open the EA site very good. I use Firefox and it works just fine.

I need to see a post from North Texas that he's completed the week before advancing. The other two games are Wyoming and Utah State, but they are on AP. Unless they request a hold, I'll advance after NT plays.
