View Full Version : Would you participate in a TGT NCAA Football 12 Ladder?

Earlier this year we did the Farewell to NCAA11 Tournament and did so using a built-in tournament/ladder system. We had planned to do more with it this year but obviously this release has been frustrating so it's been harder to want to build interest. That said, I've put together a poll to see who would be interested in participating in a Ladder.

For anyone unfamiliar with a Ladder System, you would enter in results for games played against fellow users on TGT. Then based on your opponent and the results, you'd rise & fall up the rankings. Both Play Now and OD games would count towards this.

Additionally, bringing this tournament/ladder system, we could bring holiday tournaments, etc. into the fold.

Let me know any thoughts but if we have enough interest, I'll work on getting this setup for everyone.

I vote yes but nobody will play me. :dunno:It's because of your console... nobody likes 360 owners.

I changed the yes answer to specify a console. If you plan to play in both consoles, just answer either console and then post a reply saying so.

Yes on both. I voted before both consoles were an option.

I'd probably get into it if we actually had more than like 5 360 people participating...

Me too! But in all honesty I don't plan on coming down from the top of this ladder so I should be good.

Never had an issue getting to the top, it's coming back down that has always scared the piss out of me :D:D:D

Sorry to take me so long in getting this setup... I've had it setup but wanted to see if I could find a better way to do it.

That said, the two ladders are here: 360 (http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/ladders.php?do=view&id=6) | PS3
(http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/ladders.php?do=view&id=5)
Click the Join Ladder link in the top right of the area of the page. Then once you've joined, to add a game result, it's a two step process. Click the Insert Ladder Challenge link, then select the two competitors (time & date doesn't really apply) and click OK. After that you'll be taken back to the listing of your challenges and just click the Edit beside the one you want to update, then put in the score and click Submit.

You can always access the Ladders by clicking on the Competitions menu button at the top of the page and then navigating to the ladder.

Right now the ladder is setup with the out of the box scoring... if people decide that we need to make changes to how the scoring works, we can certainly take a look at this. Let me know any questions or feedback.

Enjoy.
