Time for conference play to get started for some and now we'll really see how the sliders are working and how are teams stack up. Now is the time when we'll also be getting pissed at the other side of the ball more for not holding up their end of the bargain.

Welcome to Week 5!

A great game against the Sooners was kind of ruined in the end with yet another EA glitch. A hard fought back and forth game ended up into overtime.
However after playing the defensive snaps and watching the offensive snaps here's what happened. At the end of the first OT the Sooners scored to tie the game, then they get the ball again right away and come away with a FG this time. After i watch the FG make they go back on offense, I'm saying WTF? Knowing this is wrong and nothing I can do about it I pick a defense and the Sooners run 1 play and then FINAL, game over. So I got screwed out of my offensive possession in the 2nd OT and possibly a great upset victory. Oh well, moving on.

Frustrating for sure....

The Cavs had another tune-up game for ACC play by handling Middle Tenessee State. Nothing outrageous likethe Akron game. The young Cav D line took advantage of stellar coverage behind them and a fairly bad MTSU OL to keep lots of pressure on the opposing QB. Next up is a bye week.

That sucks. I will now play for the win instead of a tie if I am in a possible OT situation.

Memphis holds on to win over a talented but dis-organized Marshall team. It was a complete game for the Memphis squad as they were in control of the game from the kick-off.
