Lefty Hooks gets his first win in a big way on the road vs. an ACC team. We won 34-27 with ball control being the key to the game. Duke scored 14 points in the 4th quarter to really bring this game back close. Jake Medlock gets player of the game honors as he went 14 for 24 with 333 yards passing 3 touchdowns to 1 interception. We pounded the ball with Darrian Mallary 26 times to the tune of 76 yards, there was not many open holes for him to showcase his speed.

Medlock made all the correct reads today, the one INT was on a busted route. We move on to week three where FIU travels to Athens to face off against SEC power Georgia. Georgia is favored by 17 points early on, don't look for that to shrink. FIU will more than likely have to rely on Jake Medlock once again if they have any chance of hanging with Georgia. If we couldn't run on Duke, it surely isn't going to happen against Georgia. Look for the short passing game to be a big part of the scheme.

I'm not sure why during week 1 when I had my bye week I added 21 prospects to my recruiting board. Offered them a scholarship and talked to them.

Now in week 2, I have 7 prospects on my board. I went back and add the others and had to re-offer them a scholarship, this time when I did it gave me 0 points.

:dunno:

The Warriors traveled to USC and received a beat down 48-14. USC is VERY good on defense, if they weren't jumping the routes and picking off the passes, they were hammering my HB forcing fumbles. They even knocked my starting HB out with a concussion. :deadhorse:

Hawai'i ready to advance.

Sorry if I hold it up, but I will not be able to get my game in until tomorrow. Gonna shoot to do it before Da Bears play at 3.
