This week, the Tigers travel to Jonesboro to face the Arkansas State Red Wolves (1-0).

This week, the Cavaliers will host #24 Penn State (1-0).

Mem 35 - Ark State 21

The score does not reflect how much fun the game was. Memphis came out scoring 35 points in the first half. Then, towards the end of the second quarter, a botched punt return by Memphis was ran back for a touchdown, and Ark State commenced to turn things around. State held the Tigers scoreless in the second half and if it wasn't for two ill-timed INT's (one in the endzone) State had a real chance.

The game itself was a blast. Thanks to Underdawg for a great one.

I'm going to be the first to come out and say that I'm taking the first HC job that gets offered. I can't stand giving my offense the ball in good position, only to see them get no points time and time again. Overall lost 31-16, but my offense turned it over on downs 5 times inside PSU's 35...

Game played very realistic though. Got ran on for 2 bills by a stuff HB, and gave up 300 passing to an equally stud QB.
