Roadhouse was lazy this morning for not creating the thread, because he was spending extra time cooking up some schemes. Baylor brought hellfire and brimstone to Kelly Shorts Stadium as Wyoming paid a return visit to OC Gerry Tarkanian. No long a shark, Tark still has some bite. Baylor scored first thanks to a sack, fumble, and return for a TD on the second play of the game. An R.Griff interception let the Cowboys get close enough for an FG, but that's about all the good news they would get.

The mighty, mighty Bears would go on a sack fest, racking up 7, and forcing 5 fumbles. Baylor recovered three of them, and had a pick, as the defense went off today. RG3 didn't have to be cheddar-rific because Jarred Salubi was wearing his big boy pants today. Salubi rumbled for 274 yards in 27 carries and had 3 TDs.

Wyoming had success moving the ball between the 20s but couldn't punch it in. Once that early momentum shifted, there was no overcoming it. Having been there and seen it, there's a significant difference for the average Big 12 player and a typical small school like UNLV or Wyoming. Glad I'm on this side now. Final score, Baylor 38 - Wyoming 9.

Next week, it is time for a reality check. Baylor will take their show on the road to Austin and face those big, bad Longhorns. I expect a different outcome from my last two games.

Commish takes out the team that offered him a job this past off-season in :Kansas: The Rice Owls D was swarming all game long forcing several Jayhawk turnovers in route to a fairly easy victory to improve to 2-0 on the young season. Perhaps Coach Wyatt knew what he was doing in staying with the Owls in the final year of his contract?

If someone new joins, do they pick from the same jobs we selected from?

Yeah I would think they would need to start at the bottom and build their way up the ranks. Thankfully, right now they wouldn't be too far "behind".
