Yeah something screwy is going on with dynasty wire right now. Eventually it will tell you Dynasty Wire is unavailable. If you select try again later it should eventually take you to the OD so that you can play/recruit.

Rice came in with a new offense (Washington) and Coach Wyatt's defense and they held on for a victory on the road against an SEC foe. Vandy ran the ball pretty well but the Rice D was up to the task stopping Vandy on a final series and Vandy's field goal sailed wide right as Rice held on to a 3 point victory to start the season off with a W.

Ready...
NC State opens with a huge win against Ball St. QB Mike Glennon looked like a Hiesman contender throwing for almost 400 yards 4 touchdown and running for another. Watch out ACC!

The mighty Baylor Bears take Coach Tarkanian's old friends to the woodshed in an ugly rout in Waco. Baylor scored first with a saftey, and never looked back. RG3 lead the Bears to a 30-0 lead before UNLV found the endzone. The cheddar was kept to a minimum out of respect for those fine young men who gave their all to the coach.
UNLV did get 3 sacks, which may have been 50% of last year's out put. The Rebels had trouble stopping the Baylor ground game as senior Jarred Salubi sliced up the D. He finished with 140 yards rushing and a TD, and R. Griff went 17-30 for 287 and 2 TD through the air.
It was a nice tuneup for Wyoming next week.
On the recruiting front, we made some wise investments we hope will pay off. One excitable boy from Oklahoma already committed because he was so excited to don the green and gold. Speaking of which, it's a lot of fun to have multiple uniform choices! Alt #1 was today's choice. Not sure what we'll where when we face dem Cowboys.

Tulsa's undefeated dreams were crushed today. A Close game against #4 Oklahoma 7-27
Tulsa's defense really showed up scoring the team's only touchdown off of a 85 yard pick six.
Tulsa held Oklahoma to one FG from 7 Red Zone attempts !! a staggering 14%
5 sacks and 2 forced turnovers were not enough to spark the Tulsa offense as their senior QB finished with a 48 QB rating with 64 total yards, while throwing 4th quarter TDs to the Oklahoma Defense.
Another small victory was taking Oklahoma's All American running for the season with a strained pectoral.... so we know who really won.

Agreed. This could be a few weeks ahead of where we are right now. Did Gigem play? I saw he was online a while ago, so I figure he did his stuff. I haven't seen the other guys in a long, long time.

dammit. I know he's jazzed up about his Eagles, so maybe it was a bad weekend with the fam. He's old like me and that shit creeps up on you. Anyway, it's almost tomorrow. C-Dub is sharpening his ax.

Speak into my good ear sonny.
USM rolls into Tuscaloosa then unfortunately the #1 TIDE ROLLED the Eagles.
The crowd was amazing, loud as all get out! My starting QB couldn't take the beating, he was sacked on the first to plays from scrimmage and the second sack sent him out for the game with a concussion.
This gave us the backup QB which was so nervous with the crowd noise he couldn't see the WR icons and the routes where all types of crazy yellow lines.
When I tried to rush the ball I'd get hammered in the backfield or if I made it to the LOS I'd get caught from behind by a d-lineman. All I can say about Bama's Defense is they are VERY VERY FAST.
I was able to break 1 long run so it actually made my stats come out of the negative. I did get hammered otherwise, backup QB was hammered in the endzone and we gave up a safety. Some of them where like, HIKE SACK WELOME TO Tuscaloosa.

#1 Bama ROLLS past USM 45-14.

I finally have a day off so if Roady can make a game today then great, if not, I'll let him play the CPU since I've been holding him back. With the holidays at work starting to kick up its becoming harder to schedule user games for me, glad this is my only one this year.

Well, I sure WISH I could play more top #15 teams.....I'm starting to feel your pain ex-UNLV.
This week we rolled the bus up into Lincoln and took on #15 Nebraska. Man alive is their defense fast too! Especially their DBs. I will pass to a wide open WR and the DB will somehow jump the route and bat it down.
I didn't give them much of a game it was 31-0 in the 1st quarter.
I think they must have let the h/s team play the 2nd half b/c I ended up loosing 40-21.
Guess there's always next week.....
GO BIG RED!

p.s. just wondering is this the default schedule it had for USM or did you sup it up for me? This is some tough sledding, I feel like THEIR FCS team....
LOL what Roady too lazy to start a week 3 thread for my busy ass?
