Ok boys - strap it up. I advanced the 'nasty to the offseason and was prompted with some fun news:

TJ CRAIG is on the clock

NC State has a job offer for you. If you don't take it, a couple of other GBNers might. Also, if you're not an East Coast guy, you are in the running for the San Diego State OC spot, too.

Make you decision ASAP and post here that we can advance to the next coach on the clock.

Isellatms let us know when you make your decision and then who is the next person on the clock. This obviously will take FOREVER if we do not set a time every season to just knock it out in 1 sitting.

Therefore, we will knock this out on Monday night at 8 pm CST.

Yeah, the part I don't like, but understand for "carousel" purposes is that all the job are listed but all the candidates aren't. So NC State has a short list, and TJ and Gus Heinze are on it. If one of them grabs that job, then another school will have to find a different candidate for their opening and so on. But it seems easy enough to recalculate all the positions after the first, second, etc choices have been made. Oh well, I'm just in limbo anyway.

OH - and this may help us. the commish has the option to force the coach to take or reject the offer. Sooooooooo, let's say CLW advances and see that I am offered a gig somewhere. If I was indisposed, like a hair-pulling, can't drink enough beer to kill the pain kind of family event we all know about, then C-dub could text me and and say want it or not? I could give the decision, and the carousel moves on. At least that part could be handled in a more timely manner. I mean, we're all fairly reachable with respects to our families now.

Gus with an "S" sir has taken the step to to Southern Miss and the Golden Eagles.

Family left this morning after breakfast so I'm good to go. Thanks to all for waiting. :-)

Yep. Not sure what the job offer is but I got the e-mail. FYI - if you all haven't done so you should sign up for the EA e-mail updates as they will help you keep informed about our progress.

FYI - we will try to go quickly as possible tonight. I will set up an AIM chat or PSN chat. Does anyone have a preference as to which one we use?

someone AIM'd me indicating they couldn't make it. Unfortunately, my CPU crashed and I cannot remember who it was and how they wanted me to contact them. If it was you please post here and let me know how to get a hold of you tonight.

My PS3 and and computer on in the same room, so PS3 chat would be better for me, but either way will work. I can have AOL IM on and just run back and forth. Either way works for me. Thanks for waiting until tonight :-)

We will just do PSN chat then. I've never used it before but I am pretty sure I can start a "chat" with all of us in the same "room" you can go back in forth from the game to the chat screen by hitting the PS button. I'll start a chat shortly before 8 pm CST.

I've used it before and you're right, it's pretty simple and it's right there. Works for me, thank you sir.
