Is this a new Arcade Football game (uggh) or could they be moving one of the football teams or both from Tiburon (I highly doubt).

Sucks if it is a new Arcade football game. Outside of maybe the first Street game they never sold that well. Also it would mean this would be the third "new" EA game. Leaving us college hoops fans blowing in the wind.

Edit I also got a chuckle at the last line of all the Software Engineer Jobs

Embedded programming experience (specifically dealing with memory and performance)
Strong C++ programming skills
Strong Debugging skills
Can work independently and as a team member
Sports fan, preferably Football fan

NFL Blitz (or similar styled game)... mark it down. It's been long rumored, especially after they hired the guy that helped create NFL Blitz.

Turmell already left for one of the social network gaming sites.

Josh Looman (Madden franchise lead dev) has been working out of Austin for a while. I'm guessing they may be giving him some people to help on that front in his locale.

My thoughts too... please tell me it's not though. I don't play/like those types of games.

They should hire me, although I'm not a software guy.
