Season 1 - Week 13

Only 5 games this week as Austin has a bye.
And of course if Smooth leaves we'll have one less, I'm sure we all hope he stays but there's no reason to play if you aren't having fun.

Next week is the last week of the regular season and only two games with both Austin and natcret playing. Then we'll be ready for bowl season and then the offseason.

Memphis upsets Southern Miss! The defense is finally figuring out how to stop the pass. 5 Wins on the season and will jus miss a possible bowl.arrgghh.

Just had what might be my best coach mode finish ever. Tough fought game against Temple. HB Terry had a great game going over 150 yds rushing before suffering an injury that will keep him out the remainder of the year. Spencer Keith set a new school record for passing yards in a season. None of those yards were more important than the final play of the game.

Temple had the ball running hurry up with a minute left in the game, score tied 27-27. The KSU seconday was all over the temple Recievers like a fat kid on cake. With MLB Batton shadowing the Temple QB on his scramble attempt, the ball was jarred loose, allowing KSU to take one shot at the endzone before heading to OT.

Hail Mary was the call with trips left. Temple's four man rush nearly got to Spencer, but a timely block by backup HB Dri Archer bought him some time to step up and arch a pass downfield. The ball seemed to be in the air for an eternity before WR Tyshone Goode outlept the Temple secondary securing the catch at about the 10 yard line. He was able to spin out of an arm tackle and sprinted to the endzone for the last second victory!

The win puts KSU at 8-4 on the year, and hopes are big for a bowl game and subsequent contract extension.

I see I'm the last person to play. I should be able to get my game later in sometime today. Myself and Nat are planning on playing our golf rounds for the TGA tonight, so I'll get my OD game in as well.

W Mich wins a hotly contested game against the very scrappy Akron squad 17-12. Akron was able to move the ball early but weren't able to punch it in for TDs and that was their undoing. When W Mich finally figured out they couldn't just throw their helmets out there and get a win they buckled down and did what they do best. A steady dose of timely running by HB Drake and later HB Winchester along with QB Carder spreading it around to several different receivers and at the end of it all we have a win and a MAC WEST title. With Toledo thumping C Mich last week and with my win here I have a spot in the MAC Championship game and likely get a rematch with MIA OH, can't wait.

EDIT: Just looked and both MIA OH and OHIO are 7-0 in the MAC and they play this week to see who wins the MAC EAST and meets me in the MAC title game.

Great win Coach and congrats on winning your side of the thing. Sorry it couldn't be me there. On the plus side, I think I have 3 commits and 5 or 6 soft commits... Let's see what happens when we advance!

Yeah sounds like your recruiting has been going well.
Mine however, not so much. My offseason recruiting is going to have to be pretty damn good in order for me to have any kind of decent class I think.

My game's done. As soon as the week advances, I'm retiring. This game was nothing but pure bullshit. I don't even care that I lost. I care that I got fucked out of this game because the game decided I should. Third quarter, I got down inside the MTSU 3 yard line, rushed it in for a touchdown, magically get called for holding. Manage to get back down to the 1, go for it on 4th and goal. My guy gets the ball over the goal line, but they review it, and instead of showing him getting the ball over the goal line, the game only shows him getting pushed and tackled backwards from the goal line, so the play gets overturned and the touchdown, for the second fucking time, is erased.

Same thing in the 4th quarter. I managed to score a touchdown, but oh, guess what, the game decides it wants to fuck me over again, and calls me for holding. Then at the end, I manged to take the lead, my defense rolled over and died and gave it right back up. I was able to retake it again. Then on MTSU's first play of their next possession, my DBs don't even bother fucking covering anyone. They just let a receiver blow right past them and watching him take it 75 yards for a touchdown without a single DB even within 20 yards of him. And then while we managed to get down into MTSU territory with less than a minute to play, my dumbass QB conveniently throws his first and only interception of the game with 30 seconds left to play.

It didn't matter one damn bit what the hell I did, this game was able to magically do whatever the fuck it took to screw me out of touchdowns, to screw me out of big plays, and to screw me out of any chance I might have had of winning. All of that, along with the typical AI/CPU bullshit, and of course MTSU's jet pack assisted fucking leaping LBs, as well as their DBs, who even on a bullet pass, were able to cover the entire 53 1/3 yards from one sideline to the other to come running over, leap through the air, and swat down a pass. I'm sorry fellas, but I've had all I can take.

If EA ever figures out how the fuck to program a PROPER, SMART and FUNCTIONING AI/CPU, and not this cheesing bullshit they call AI/CPU right now, I'll gladly rejoin you guys. But what we have right now, I can't take it. I play NCAA for fun, and right now, this bullshit I put up with every week does nothing but send me into entirely new and undiscovered levels of pissed off, raise my blood pressure to steaming levels, and probably push me a couple years closer to a heart attack. I enjoyed it while it was actually fun to play and enjoyed getting to spend time with all of you guys. Best of luck to you all.

Sorry to see you go Smooth but I figured it was coming. Not sure what the deal is but I'm not seeing the kind of stuff you describe or at least nearly as much. Take care.
