Another week down.

Got a user game this week with FIU v FAU but with Smooth being busy it may be early next week before they can play so everyone be patient.

Honestly, Nat, if everyone gets their games played and it's left to just me and you, go ahead and play the CPU (if the game lets you do that). I don't want to hold everyone up for almost a week, so just go ahead and get the game in man.

Pulled out an amazing OT win, but super frustrated with super CPU team play. Akron is horrible, but for 3 quarters they played like Auburn. OL was impenetrable. Their 60s rated QB ate his Wheaties and conjured up the ghost of Johnny Unitas. In addition, the referees were paid handsomely by some well-to-do Akron boosters. At one point in the 3rd quarter I had lost 3 long TDs (2 runs and a pass) due to holding calls. Another holding call negated a field goal in the 4th.

That's the bad. With a couple minutes to go in the 3rd and frustrations running high, I switched to a run and gun style hurry up offense. Things started to click and I slowly ticked away points. It looked like it wasnt going to be enough as I was down by 7 with 1:30 left and Akron had the ball deep in my territory. However, as is the theme for my year thus far, my D forced a timely turnover and a quick 70 yd TD pass (highlight uploaded) sent us to OT. After a few plays on offense in OT, Keith tossed an INT to a leaping LB who must have had an 88 inch vertical. All hope was lost until Akron dropped back to pass but didn't see the Kent State DB in the passing lane. In a wild finish, the pick was returned the length of the field for the winning score.

For at least one more year, the Wagon Wheel stays at KSU!

Kudos to QB Spencer Keith who shook of four horrible INTs to throw for 400 yards and 2 timely TDs.

I've come to the realization that it will always be that way unless you make the cpu pretty weak. I'm learning to stay on my toes and play stout defense as much as I can, and keep being careful on offense until I can pull away. With EMU, I never pull away.

I for one just got the dreaded "Transfer Failed" after a comeback win late. It looks to have recorded my score just like it did to Gnarly but I can go into ESPN-Scores/Schedules and select my game and play it so it clearly didn't get all the way recorded so I'll probably have to play again I guess.

Weird, I remember uploading it the first time. Now I uploaded it again. Still nothing. It is recorded in-game that I won. Score is in my forum thread. Damn, Buffalo had a kick return for a TD I wanted people to see.

Go the ESPN tab and then Scores/Schedules and see if you can play your game from there, if you can then it didn't record.

I noticed that last week. I got beat by UCF in OT but it obviously didnt record the game. Says I got beat by 28 or so.

Oh, I think you're all right. Unless Nat wants to go ahead and play, what was supposed to be a user game between ourselves, our game as a CPU game against FIU, it'll be at least Tuesday or Wednesday before me and him are able to get our game in, so you got time. :D

Were you able to get on the dynasty web page? Can't get on that or the dynasty in-game. Server maintenance or patch incoming? Just weird that I can't get on either, when I have ALWAYS been able to. Also have auto-login for the forums there, but have been disconnected from that.

Hopefully that 2nd patch will be out very soon to resolve some of these issues. If you'd like Arch I'm willing to throw out your game so you can replay it since you did win the first time but I won't be able to do that till this evening.

Did it go through? I can still play it again in the schedules so I have no choice honestly. At least I have another crack and winning. I have had probably 5 ko's returned for TDs that were called back for holding. Gonna replay it now.

Yeah I've noticed a high amount of holding so I'm going to bump that down before I advance.

It's about dang time. Finally got the upload to work. Won this time. I was destroying them by 28 and no matter what I could do to get revenge on EA for making me do this three times, the computer went into destroy mode and came back. Rivers for Buffalo is EVIL.

Since I live in the projected path area of Hurricane Irene (south Florida), if something takes place to where I lose power, internet, etc, I won't be able to play via the 360 and would most likely have to do a super sim depending on what happens.

I hate this damn lag!!! Thanks to the stupid damn lag, punting from my 25 yard line with a minute to play in the 1st half, my punter shanked the ball and Nat takes over on my 40 yard line. Just f'ing great. Thanks a lot EA, you stupid jackasses.

Great game man.

I still don't know how I won. My stupid QB was making the most idiotic passes I've ever seen, the godforsaken online lag completely ruined anything I had for a kicking game. No way in hell I miss that field goal in the 4th quarter without that lag. From that close of range, it would never happen. But, your team kept us from being able to do anything all day besides those two extremely lucky runs by my HB. I thought we had blown it when that field goal was missed. I pretty much felt I was going to lose right there. And then when you scored that touchdown at the end, I started seeing images in my mind of you getting the onside kick and then scoring on a giant pass.

This game also reminded me that I really need to go back in and work on my playbook. I have 7 whole plays for shotgun passing. Makes it extremely hard to do anything from the shotgun when those are the only plays to choose from, and their all either deep routes along the lines of 4 verts, or their all short route passes. Only thing that worries me is the playbook bug, which I have never come across in my time with the game, and I'm afraid that I'll do something to cause it to start happening if I go in and screw with my custom playbooks for the first time since release day.
