Transfer Failed in Online Dynasty games

I wasn't aware that this is as big of an issue as it is but apparently quite a few are experiencing a random bug that after they complete a game, it will come back to the OD and when it attempts to upload the results, it will say "Transfer Failed" (like this (https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-46Dbecm6YKY/Tka2MD4rP7I/AAAAAAAAAMo/HQM1j2z2NW4/s640/photo.JPG)). When you continue to hit retry, you'll get an email notification from the DW website telling you the results of your game, however when the week is advanced, it turns out the game will actually be simmed. I've experienced this once for myself.

If you experience something like this and it's never actually saved, I would recommend that you consider having your commish throw out your results and you replay the game. If it's against another user, if they successfully save the results then more than likely you wouldn't have to replay the game.

Tradition Sports (http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/threads/transfer-failed-issues.60911/) is covering this pretty well and has been in contact with EA to make them aware. Just wanted to make more people aware.

Yep... exactly that. I had the same thing happen to me... I retried 5 times and received an email for each one. I wasn't aware of the issue at the time so I just went on my merry way but looking back, the game was actually simmed (I won either way).

That said, one way you can check to ensure that the results were saved is to go to the "play the game" section of the OD and if you press :ps3tri:/:360y:, if it gives you the game completed summary, you should be good. If it gives you the game preview, then the game's results will need to be thrown out and the game replayed.

Even though my Transfer Failed issue is quite different (and has also got the OD stuck), I received a bunch of emails the day it happened too. My OD got screwed up during the Coaching Carousel at the end of year 1. I actually didn't think much of the deluge of emails until I saw what SP said.

Same here, we are in the bowl season and two of our guys cannot get their results to upload. I and another player ave a game against each other and it keeps losing connection right after the coin toss.

Anybody know what is going on?

Several people on the tradition sports site have asked when patch 2 is coming out? I read the patch 2 info and it didn't specifically state a fix for this. Does anybody know if it was included, or is this wishful thinking? My dynasty has been at a standstill during the bowl week for a week and a half now!

Mods on EAs forums do not know any more inside info regarding the game, etc. than any of the other Game Changers including the admins here. Reading into them closing down threads, saying they don't have any additional info, etc. is completely unnecessary because they probably won't have a 100% definite answer any sooner than you or I would.

Until EA says something official on the matter, than all we can do is assume and getting upset because of your own assumptions is nobodies fault but your own.

It has happened to me last two Bowl seasons (solo on-line dyn). First one was for the NC, beat VaTech 20-10 only to have it simmed and lost. just happened again in rose bowl vs wash - great come from behind victory ,but again simmed as a loss. Is there a way I can throw out the results and play it again when this happens? How?

this bug has me on the edge of quitting the game. i have lost every single bowl game in our OD post season 1.

I make the most of the game, but between the CPB glitches and this transfer fail bs I'm really leaning toward heading over to Madden (which I'm sure has its own host of problems already).

Mid-day yesterday to be exact, but yeah.....I've seen several posts since then saying that the issue is not fixed.

Yup, I thought that too, we had at least half our dynasty that had their games get simmed instead. I played mine 3 times and ended up getting simmed as well. This game is challenging enough to me but to not have it save is just pissing me off

I was getting transfer failed last night, soon as I finish making pitches to my players leaving, it happens when exiting out of that screen. When I reload the dynasty, I have to pitch them again (at least I figured out how many minutes it takes to get each player to stay, lol). I'm hoping it was a server issue and it will work tonight. I tried over and over last night, whether I save the dynasty file to my hd or not when going in made no difference. Has anyone else got this issue at this particular point in dynasty?
