As I mentioned to Jake, you guys should try the double pause trick... that really does seem to fix the majority of DCs.

Sim our game this week Gig is only available to play @ 8p central. I start night shift tomorrow 7p to 7a eastern. I tried to set up a game tonight @ 10p central and Gig gave some story about his kids get up @ 6a and logged off. Then he logged back on @ 10:30p central playing football. To make a long story short just sim so he won't hold up the league.

Dawg & Gig, not sure what happened, either miscommunication or misunderstanding or whatever but I don't see any reason why this game can't still be played considering you have four more days to do so. I realize schedules can be tight but in this case, I think you guys should be able to work out something during the day for one day this week. Let me know any thoughts but I'm very much against simming games or playing against the CPU unless it's absolutely unavoidable.

Just a reminder and this is probably good for everyone to know but...

If you're experiencing disconnections in user games, both users should alternate pausing the game one time each prior to selecting the opening kickoff play (ie kickoff middle, return middle, etc.) This seems to cure a large majority of disconnection issues.

GusGig, can you play at any point during the day (ie 8am-3pm)? I know dawg's work schedule varies so sometimes day-time games may work better.

Yes sir, I can try, the problem is I'm a stay at home Dad, so my "job" is to take care of my kids. We have 1 3-year old and a 1 month old. I'm kinda limited there due to my 3-year has a pretty set schedule, I have him taking a nap from 12-2 daily, the problem is the 1 month old isn't on any sort of a schedule so I'm at the mercy of pausing the heck outta the game.

My wife is a teacher and she is home at night, allowing me time to play without 100000, pauses.

So, yes I can try as long as the other person knows up-front there may be a lot of pausing going on. My kids come first, some people have jobs where they can't be on PS3 since they aren't at home while they are working. I can be on the PS3, but not 100% of the time, hope this makes sense, this is still considered my "job". There are times when I try and play during the day, but I end up showing as being online for hours on end, when the truth of the matter is I'm off changing diapers, feeding him, or something else and the PS3 is just sitting there turned on. Half the time I have to turn my controller back on.

Tuesday I will be out of pocket from 7:00AM-5:00PM for Plumbers Continuing Education. I have to take an 8 hour class 1/year to renew my plumbing lic. However I can play tomorrow night after 8pm central.

I don't see it that way. More like Liar Liar!! Gig sent me a message stating he could play after 8PM central any night. I replied that I would check about last night. I sent a message @ 4:51pm eastern while he was still logged on asking if we could play @ 10 central. I logged on @ 10pm central sent him a message asking if he was ready. He replied that it was time for him togo to bed cause his kids get up @ 6am and he logged off. @ 10:30pm he logged back on playing NCAA 12 til 1:00am central.

At this point I just want the game played... I don't care what one guy did or the other guy didn't do. Take out your frustration on the game and see how much you can outscore your opponent. Just get it played.

My schedule:
Tues and Fri: available from 8am to 3pm eastern requires advanced notice so I can adjust my sleep schedule. I work from 7pm til 7am.
Wed and Thurs: (my off days) available from 8am to 5pm eastern requires advanced notice so I can adjust my sleep schedule. Then from 11pm til 7am eastern.

Ok, I talked to my wife, she is home until next week when she goes back to working fulltime (teacher). I can play tomorrow while our kids nap, my window in the daytime is 12-2pm central. Please be reasonable and don't ask to start the game at 2pm. If we could start at or close to noon then we should have plenty of time.

Ok, I'll keep checking back. I've already lined it up with my wife, she's cool with watching the kids. If the one gets up from his nap she's got it, if the baby is up the entire time she's cool with me playing from 12-2. It's just not-realistic though, for me to expect my wife to do it all day long by herself while I play video games. My wife and I agreed on the 12-2 time frame, hopefully he'll come on soon and let me know.

Ok, please let me know something as soon as you can. Wife is watching DVR shows now. She said she'll pause her shows as soon as I need to play our game. Just let me know, I'll keep checking on here. After 2 when my son gets up from his nap we will be going to the pool. Then I can play again tonight after 8pm central.

Well, good game sir, glad we got it in.

Memphis was just too much to handle for the Broncos. The Memphis HB ran all over us like our defense was ready for pee-wee league. Then just when you thought you might stop the run, the speed of the Memphis WRs was too much to handle. Even against cover 3, they'd just blow past the DBs and take it to the house. I even set my Pass defense to conservative SO they wouldn't get beat....ummm didn't work LOL

Memphis wins 42-13, could have been worse, he broke yet another TD run with less than 1 min to go in the 4th quarter but dove to just chew clock. Thanks I guess LOL either way I was :deadhorse: soundly.
