Ags, this weekend is pretty tight scheduling wise. I more than likely am only available on Sunday between 1 and 4 PST Sunday afternoon or in a really crazy overnight hour at some point. If this doesn't work for you let me know so I can see what I can do.

Due to a work switch, I won't be available til after 9 P.M. PST on Sunday, go ahead and place me as out of town so that Ags can play the CPU. If he hasn't played or posted by an hour before deadline, I can come back to play the game.

Yeah anyone that did not attempt to schedule in this thread will be placed on autopilot. If neither tried they both will be and it will just be 1st come 1st serve on games I suppose.

We really need to be a little more active here in the threads particularly when trying to schedule hum v. hum games.

Buckeye and I had a good game going but the "fine folks" had other plans as just when buckeye was about to put me in serious trouble the game decides it has had enough and disconnects us both. This game is BUGGY AS HELL and it is starting to piss me off.

Sorry buckeye. we have decided to allow the sim gods to control our fates.

Definitely sucks. Ive played only 3 online games and each one fails to make the 4th quarter. My internet connection is excellent btw.

Yeah I don't think it has anything to do with EITHER of our connections as OD disconnects appear to be rampid in the game.

FYI - there are reports of a "double pause fix" so from now on all user v. user games should prob try this:

after the coin toss but prior to the opening kick off whoever is home pause 1st then restart the game and again before any plays are selected or the opening kick off the road team should also pause and then restart.

for whatever reason this reportedly helps prevent disconnects later in the game.

Just both users pause and then unpause prior to the opening kickoff. i have no idea why but ppl are reporting that it helps lower the disconnect % chances

UNLV's defense is already on autopilot and I can't fix it. These guys are getting greased up and bent over on a regular basis. I've got a young, shaky QB that isn't a big time passer. When my D gives up 21 in the first, I can't overcome that with Read Options and slant passes. WTF? The D is weak, but come EA. They are averaging like 50 now.

And I'm trying to juggle the adjustments, and nothing is working. At least I won't be the only UNLV coach collecting Fed checks in a few months...

That rant doesn't even begin to highlight the blatant homerism from the refs in the game. I had pics of three facemasks calls on my ball carriers that weren't made. There were a couple of jumping lineman that somehow got back in time, and my WRs got mugged like I was agasint the 2001 Patriots. But the hanky would drop if I bust out a first down run.

Maybe next week it won't be so bad because I'll use the sticks vs. Shards. Hopefully I can limit him to only 45.
