UNLV has a bye week. Recruiting is finished as we inch closer to a few mediocre prospects. yay
Sort of off-topic but does anyone have any thoughts/opinions on whether we should be "forced" to completely honor all contracts we enter?

Apparently Coach Wyatt's defense spent too much time putting their heads through car windows or :sf: because they layed an egg in this one. After a decent 1st half, the Owls couldn't tackle, couldn't pressure the QB and couldn't cover. All of this led to an epic implosion down the stretch.

I wouldn't be opposed to having to honor at least half of a contract (see JBHuskers' rules in his dynasties), but only start once we take a new contract. Since all of our starting contracts were predetermined before we chose our schools, some players would be stuck at their current school longer than others would be. Yet, if we choose to take a new job, then we'd lock in to that school for some time.

This is the NCAA and this game is an accurate representation of college football, so I don't think the programmers entered anything about honor in the game. (I'm looking at you Bobby Petrino) But I'm not sure of the limits or repercussions of a coach's contract. I'm going to defer to the more experienced in this field, until I can find out more.

If you stay and honor your contract your coach loyalty will get to be an A+. Something very useful while recruiting. I dont think there should be any restrictions. If a team offers you a job, i think you as a user have decisions to make.

The Battle of I-25 saw New Mexico State roll into Las Cruces and keep on rollin'. The Aggies shut out their rival 38-0 winning the Maloof Trophy.

But not as much fun. I like the charity aspect of it, plus, you really get to hone your defensive prowess when you constantly work with short fields.....

My defense really stepped up the last 2 games. Only allowing 14 points to SMU, and 3 points to Mid Tenn State.
