Ok, I played vs BryceDaddy(top player). He refused to play vs a top 10 RANKED team, I picked LSU, a team that has the exact same RATINGS as Miami, his team. Well, I changed to TEXAS B+ team vs his A team. During the game we discussed this, he claims that the cpu helps out the top 10 teams (a.i. for deffense for example). Any input on this????? Should it matter what the pre-season RANK is or should the RATINGS be the only thing that matters? It's funny, he uses one of the highest RATED teams on the game, top 5 in that category, but they are not in the top ten RANKED. I argued that there are plenty of PRE- SEASON RANKED teams on the game that are RATED lower than his UN RANKED Canes.:bang::confused::dunno:

I can't say it with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure the rankings have no boost and do not alter how teams play. AFAIK, ratings are the only thing that matters besides HFA.

If he plays at LSU, he is also getting the Home Field Advantage boost when playing at Death Valley.

Forida States playbook sucks, but alot of players seem pretty high in the agility and speed department, they dont get knocked down as easy. It would be interesting to know if EA was coy enough to make alot of teams that all average a b+ but each b+ is stronger in a particular area etc....I think I noticed that there is no A+ defense in the game ...?

Bama' has A+ defense.... Oklahoma has an A, LSU - Penn State - Miami all have A-

A - is not A+..and I dont believe Bamas defense is an A+ ...? i'll look again at some point As and A- I dont care about..how many actually have some sort of A + rating though ?
