Intentional Grounding Broken?

I've gone through about 5 years in my offline dyansty and I have noticed that intentional grounding penalty. I and using custom sliders with Intentional Grounding raised up to 100 even. I have even thrown the ball away after a 3 step drop between the tackles and no gotten a penalty, the cpu can throw the ball 50 yards out of bounds to avoid a sack without getting called.

just wondering if anyone else has gotten this penalty called.

Yeah I had it called once in my first season but I have never seen the cpu called. It is usually flawed pretty much every year on next gen.

I don't think it was flawed last year, but I do think there was a design change to the way "throw the ball away" works this year. So I wouldn't expect to see Intentional Grounding called this year, based on what I've seen.
