2011 Fantasy Football Talk Thread

I lost the game to go to the title game. Fucking Aaron Hernandez has a career game, CJ Spiller decides he wants to go off, then Reggie MF'n Bush has a career game.

I had Nicks who dropped 2 TD's and a 3rd TD was called back due to holding.

Arian Foster would've added another TD but TJ Yates decides he wanted to throw an interception inside the 8-yd line on 2nd down.

I dropped Heyward-Bey on Thursday....just so happens he has a career day. Picked up Denarius Moore who didn't do squat. Then I had Malcolm Floyd on the bench who had a rather big game.

My team overachieved because I didn't have the best of players but still wanted to get in the title game. I can still grab $25. I already won my entry fee back by winning the division. The two teams in the title game are led by Brady and Brees. The same two guys that made it last year, they just had their QB's swapped.

I lost my chance at the finals because he had Brees and I had Stafford on the bench. :( Oh well, after all the injuries this year I am proud for making it to the #2 seed.

New England, NYG, Chicago, and Minnesota all have a pass D ranked 27th or below But Da Bears don't give up many passing TD's compared to the Giants. So I'd go Marshall, Gaffney, Burress.

I'd almost get Burleson and drop Lloyd (I'm not up to what Lloyd has done lately, just a hunch). If it is PPR, Burleson has been catching a lot of balls in the 2nd half of the season.

I like Pettigrew best.

If you have a scrub to drop, keep Green Bay, and pick up Pittsburgh just for this week.

I dropped Andre Johnson (non-keeper league) for Pittsburgh... surprised it let me drop him even though he's already played this week. I've got Aaron Rodgers to start but debating on dropping Dalton for Burleson or someone else... it's a non-PPR league. Even if I pick him up though, I've still got a hell of a decision on who to start.

If San Francisco wins on Saturday, then there's a good chance that Aaron Rodgers sits on Sunday. If that happens, would you rather have Andy Dalton vsARI, Matt Moore @NE, or Alex Smith @SEA? Right now I've got Dalton but leaning towards picking up Moore.

Yeah NE gives up so many points to QB's .... Arizona has only given up 14 passing TD's this year. Alex Smith usually is only good for 200 and a touch.

Wow, no Burress? Giants have given up the 3rd most passing TD's this year. I'd bench Thomas. Last week looked good, but it was against NE. Buffalo does give up a lot of passing TD's, but man I just have a hard time riding Bronco production that long.

I had complete and utter Line-up Nirvana this week... aside from starting Kalil Bell over Bush, there's not a move I could have made to improve my score whereas my opponent has two guys on the bench that could have considerably improved his score. I can't imagine my opponent catching me but if anyone could do it, Brees could certainly come close.

I just need 39 points between Colston and Brees to win my championship matchup (non-money league, unfortunately) and I've already annihilated my other championship matchup in a total bullshit league that I was in just to fuck around. Kinda hard not to win when Brady goes for 50+ regularly because of the ridiculous scoring system that league has.

Well, I won my two bullshit leagues that don't really matter. QB choices TOTALLY fucked me in my pay league. Fuckin' stupid PPR league guide stupidly making me believe that Matt Ryan and Matt Schaub were just as good as Brees, Rodgers, and Brady because of the better WRs I'd have would balance it out... :fp:

Obviously no surprise after last night, I won going away 156.5 - 89.0. Looking back over the season, in this week, I scored the most by anyone in any week. Now only to worry about whether everyone paid their dues or not... I know a few weeks ago, the commissioner was still trying to gather funds from some folks.

Anyone ever get in a Fantasy Playoff challenge. You pick a roster, but you can't have more than one player from each playoff team.

My fantasy league is doing one and it's tough. Not only have to pick good players but have to watch how far they'll go in the playoffs.
